Harry’s POV
Giggling came from down the hall as I stepped out from my luxury room; I looked up to see Sophie in a beautiful blue dress, hand in hand with Michael, swinging their hands as they walked. I ducked my head low, hiding how furious this made me. They were still together after everything? Why won’t he realise that she’s not good for him? I had to do something, I needed to get someone who they listen to the most and make them realise that it’s not going to work so that they can tell them to give up on this thing they have.
Once I convinced myself my idea was selfish and that it was no way of getting Sophie back, I decided to go hand out with Niall. Instead of knocking, I barged straight in knowing how Niall never remembers to lock the door, and sat on the sofa, waiting for him to come from his bedroom.
I heard talking and got up, sighing heavily. He must have someone here. I saw Niall come round the corner on his phone.
“Hiya mate” He smiled over to me, I haven’t seen him this happy since Rebecca came over. “Byee, I love you” Dismissing the caller, he cut off the call and slumped onto the settee where I was previously sat.
“Sorry didn’t realise you were busy”
“Nah, don’t worry, she had to go anyway. Her first exams soon so I called her to say good luck”
“Who?”
“Becca of course” A small chuckle caused his chest to rise and fall quickly. “So what did you want? You haven’t called by my room in ages.”
“Some company” I shrugged, joining him on the sofa.
“A distraction.”
“Huh?”
“You want a distraction from the two lover birds. I can read straight through you” He laughed more, what was so funny?
“No I don’t” His eyebrow raised up at me from my answer so I decided there was no use in lying. “And even if I did, which I don’t, why would I come to you if you have a girl of your own to rub in my face.”
“So you can get tips on how to get a girl; and someone else’s girl doesn’t count” He added when I went to argue that I know how to get a girl, there’s thousands of fans who would marry me so I’m not exactly forever alone.
Thinking back to my earlier plan this morning, as harsh as it was I knew just the person who would agree with me.
“Niall does Rebecca have Skype?”
“Well yes but-”
“Don’t worry I’m not stealing her, just I need her Skype”
“Why can’t you just text?”
“She has exams, Skyping means she can revise whilst talking”
“So does Facetime and since when were you so bothered about her revision?”
“Just give me her Skype name”
After more persuading and assuring that I was not going try and sabotage his relationship, I had gotten her Skype. I knew of her exam and waited until it was afternoon to be sure she was going to answer.
I texted her to inform her that I wanted to Skype and lay back on my bed with the laptop on my lap, her name popping up as I answered the call.
“Hey Harry” She smiled up at me before returning to reading her revision notes.
“Hii”
“This is different; I wasn’t expecting you of all people to call. Did you miss your small friend?” She laughed, keeping her eyes on her revision.
“You wish”
“Ha. Ha. Still the same old you I see, even after what is it, two weeks?”
“I’ve lost count of time leave that for the managers,” I laughed but then decided to get to the point of why I wanted to speak. “I need to tell you something because I feel you have the right to know what’s going on whilst you’re away.”
“That’s very considerate but if it’s something bad I’d rather not know.”
“I think you would”
“Fine, what’s happened? Or more, what’s Sophie done now? I swear I can’t leave that girl for more than 2 seconds. She even managed to leave her microphone on when she said she was ending the call and it was not nice. My brother thought I was watching porn.” She laughed, tears coming to her eyes.
“Sophie slept with Calum and Liam.”
“I knew she slept with Calum.” She mumbled under her breath. There was a short pause whilst my words swam around her mind but the sound of her pen hitting the book showed her attention was now on me.
“Wait… L-Liam?” I nodded taking my lower lip between my teeth. “What am I going to do with her…” She sighed, resting her forehead against the mount of books that covered her desk.
