Amber's POV

Our daughters. Our. His and mine. Our daughters. Mikey's voice continue to buzz in my mind. The way he said Our daughters. Made butterflies erupt in my stomach. Blue and Mia aren't even her daughters and he calls them ours. Oh my friggin god. What. I can't even. Wait. He just practically clai-

"Amber!" Mikey said snapping me out my train of thought.

"Hmm?" I say as I wipe my hands on my shirt and look at him as he hopped on the counter and sat close to me.

"I asked you if you wanted to go shopping for our baby girls." There he goes again with the "our" thing. Don't get me wrong I love it I do, I just hate the effect it has on me. They make my stomach do acrobatics.

"Uh yeah. Just, let me change." I say and go up to my room and change. I grab my sweatpants and an oversized shirt. I put on my toms and put my hair into a high ponytail.

"I get dressed up when I go out but she gets dressed down." Mikey sings from the door way when he sees my clothes.

"I'm pregnent nothing fits me anymore." I say as I take my purse.

"I'm just kidding babe." He said and there it goes again. He walks over to me and takes my hand in his. We call for Ethan and we all get into the car.

Mikey driving, me riding shotgun and Ethan in the back in his car seat. We drove to the mall while Ethan and I played I Spy. I lost.

Mikey parked the car closest to the entrance. We all get out as Mikey picked Ethan up and and held my hand.

"So babe, does Ethan really use Luke's last name?" He asks me as we made our way to Baby's R Us.

"No, on his birth certificate his name is Luke Ethan Carter but I use Hemmings sometimes just to remind myself I actually got pregnant by him." I explain. He nods as we enter the store.

"How about our daughters? Will you use Hemmings, Carter or Clifford?" He asked and wiggled his eyebrows at me as I swated his arm.

"I'm gonna use Carter and have them changed when I get married." I said and he nods as he grabbed a cart. He put Ethan in the seat and we pushed it through the aisles.

"So technically you'll have it changed to Clifford?" He asked again and I scowled at him.

"What I'm just talking technically." He said as we stopped in the bottle aisle.

"If we get married." I tell him and look at the bundled bottles.

"Oh please. I'll take you to Vegas right now and marry you." He tells me as he showed me a bottle bundle. I nod and we put exactly 24 bottles into the cart.

"I don't want a Vegas marriage." I say and shrug.

"Then I'll take you to a chapel." He says and kisses my temple. I'm so shocked about his words so I just smile at hime.

We pick out two bath tubs. The plastic ones that has nets that hang on the sides to hold them. One Red one Violet. We picked out the powder puff things. Both were red. We picked combs and hair brushes. One Pink and one Red.

We picked out receiving blankets. A lot of it. Five for each so, ten. Five were Minnie Mouse and five were Daisy duck. We picked out frogsuits. A lot of it. Ten from the sizes of 0-3 months. Ten from the sizes 3-6 months. We picked out onsies. Twenty of them. Ten from 0-3 and ten from 3-6. We picked out dresses. Lots of them. Pajamas. Lots of them. Socks. Hats. Shoes. Headbands.

Rattles. The bedsheet set with the blankets and pillows. We got four of those. Soothers or Pacifiers. Bottle cleaners. Other baby stuff. And a stuffed lion for Ethan. He named it Mike cause yeah.

Sheesh. Shopping for twins are double the hassle unlike shopping for one baby.

"We bought a lot." I said as we made our way to cashier.

"Yeah. These twins are so lucky." He says as we hand the cashier our items.

Mikey gives them his credit card before I can even take my wallet out.

"You didn't have to pay for all of those." I say as we push the cart full of baby stuff into the lot.

"I wanted to." He says as he loads the stuff into the boot.

"Daddy Mikey look at Mike the lion." Ethan said as he practically shoved the lion at Mikey's face.

"I have a lion named Daniel. Wanna see? He's at your house." He says as he loaded the last bag.

"Ooooh. They're gonna play together." Ethan said as he climbed into the car as I buckled him in his car seat.

"Yes they will." Mikey said as he kissed Ethan's head.

Maybe Luke wasn't my Augustus Waters. Maybe Mikey was. Minus the dying and plus the other leg.
