Clary's POV

It's been a month since the wedding and Jace couldn't make me any happier. Breakfast in bed, late night drawing sessions, walks on the beach. Life couldn't be more picture perfect for me. I have a loving husband, caring friends, and understanding parents.

Me and Jace are starting to settle in the Herondale manor in Idris, not a lot of unpacking to do. Isabelle and Simon are suppose to be here in an hour to take us out to eat. Isabelle wants to start doing a lot more double dates with us, and even with Alec and Magnus too.

After Simons ascension, he started training even harder to become a great Shadowhunter. He needs to be able to catch up with Izzy anyways. And I have to admit, he is doing a pretty awesome job at it.

Right on time there's a knock at the door. I go to answer it and see Izzy and Simon all dressed up. We are going to a fancy restaurant that just opened up in town. A very high class restaurant and very expensive.

Izzy took one look at me and said "No, that just won't do. Come on, I'm helping you get ready."

"Iz, I am ready." I answer more snappy then I intended.

"Clary, I can't have my sister in law AND parabaitai looking low class at a fancy restaurant" she sighs "come, follow me."

I follow her up the stairs into my room, she is rummaging through my closet until she spots a green dress that ends at my knees with lace sleeves. It was a gift from my mother, she had always loved the way green looked on me. And I couldn't disagree, it fitted my body in all the right places.

"This, this is the one" Izzy says smiling at me "you're beautiful."

"Thank you Iz"

"No problem" she says as she finds me black heels to go with them. And with that, I'm all ready to go. I hope Jace cleaned up and looks appropriate. Who am I kidding? He always looks stunning.

"Hunny?! Are you ready? Me and Simon are dying from hunger" Jace yelled from down stairs

"We are coming babe, I had to change." I reply

And with that we are all walking to the restaurant on this beautiful day
