Jace's POV

Me and Clary finally arrived at the Herondale manor two days after visiting the silent city. Where we found out that we are having a boy, I couldn't be more excited. But lately she has been looking more pale and it scares me. She's 5 months pregnant is showing a lot more now. She looks like she is coming up with the flu, and I know that isn't good when you are with child

"Hun, could you get me water?" Clary asked sickly

"Of course babe." I say. I go down stairs and get her a cup of water. As I am heading up stairs I hear a piercing scream I know is Clary

"Clary!?" I yell and drop the cup and run to our bedroom. I look and I see a trail of blood leading to the bathroom. I look into the bathroom and see Clary crying on the floor with blood all around her.

"Jace... I need to go to the hospital, I-" she starts "I think I miscarried" the words from her mouth leave me breathless and dizzy. I quickly recover and yell to Sebastian.

"SEBASTIAN!" He quickly runs in and I kind of wonder why he is so fast to help me. But I push any thought about that away and ask him to help me carry her to the side of the house to draw a portal. He quickly helps me carry her and I am scared to death. What's happening to Clary, to the baby.

** time lapse to the mundane hospital **

Clary's POV

I wake up to a hospital scene and am confused. I stare around and see my mom and Jace with worry eyes. Then everything comes flowing back to me. The blood, the baby, Jace yelling...

"Jace," I start but tears form in my eyes "how's the baby." He starts crying and says

"My love.. You had an unusual amount of a pill called Adderall in your system. Have you took any pills lately?" He asks. Then it hits me, Sebastian gave me prenatal vitamins to try.

"Jace. Go home and get my prenatal vitamins. Please." And with that, he leaves in storm. Did Sebastian really poison me and the baby
