Clary's POV
"Is that all?" I ask Bass
"No... you need to know something else. Something you can't tell anyone." Sebastian says
"Who could I possibly tell. I'm with you always" I say in a matter of fact tone
"I'm-I'm the over lord. I did that all."
"What?!" I yell at my brother, I can't believe he actually WAS the over lord. We all thought he was just a part of it... Not the actual guy.. "how could you kill innocent people?"
"You know, I didn't mean for it to get out of hand. I just wanted people to worship me again. I used to run things around here in the shadow world." He says "I wanted you to notice me I guess."
"That's not how I notice people, or how I fall for them anyways." I say "why do you want to be with me so bad? You know if you were actually nice, girls would fall for you in a second. But you have to have all this power and its not okay.."
"I know." He says "but I just don't know how you could pick Jace over me."
"Bass... you know I have to go back at some point. I am with Jace's child." I say slowly... Trying not to get him angry
"No. You'll have the baby here, and we can raise it as our own. Jace doesn't know, isn't that right?"
"No.. I don't think he knows.."
"See, very well. Go get some rest. I love you." He says
"Love you too. Night." I add, he is so dead.
