Jace's POV
Ever sense Clary came back from Sebastian's, everything's been happening so fast. It's been 7 months sense she was with him, Christmas is here. Clary is almost due for our twins! Magnus said they should be here in a week or so.. December is going to be an expensive month for us.
"Hey babe? Can you help me up?" Clary asks "I have to pee, again."
I laugh and go help her up "yes babe"
"Thank you." she says "ughhh!" Clary says and holds her stomach. "They are killing me, they keep kicking me! It's like a war in there."
"Oh babe, I'm sorry." I say but just grin "soon we will have our little warriors"
"I hope they can wait until after Christmas." she says
"We can only hope haha" I laugh out
** Christmas Day **
Clary's POV
The tree Jace set up is absolutely beautiful. It's gold and red all around, it's amazing.
"Clary? Your mom and Luke is here. Iz said Simon and her will be late. Alec said Magnus and himself will be here in 20." Jace says
"Oh, alright. Tell mom I'm back here will you?" I say
"Of course love." He replies
"Clary??" My mom asks from the door way
"Merry Christmas Mama" I say
"Merry Christmas baby." she says back and pulls me in for a hug "Oh! My my your belly is so huge honey."
"Haha I know right?" I say "they are kicking me so much I'm surprised they don't just pop out!"
"That's good! A kicking baby is a healthy baby honey." she tells me
"I know I know , just hurts like hell." I say
"Wait until they are ready to come out! That'll hurt more!" She tells me
"Oh thanks." I blurt
"I love you and I'll be there the whole time okay? I'm staying with you until the babies pop out." my mom tells me
"Thank you mommy." I say
** everyone except Iz and Simon are here **
"Okay Jace, you're turn!" Jocelyn says and hands Jace his gift
"You didn't have to get me anything, your daughter is the best gift you've ever given me." Jace says and winks at me
"Awe that was cute-" I start to say but I get this horrible pain in my stomach. Then I feel something wet run down my legs, did I just pee myself?? "Aghh! Mom! Jace! The baby is coming! This is not a fucking drill!"
