Jace's POV

We get to the restaurant that Isabelle wanted us to try, she's right.. This place is high class. Clary is looking beautiful in that green dress of hers, I am so lucky to have her. I couldn't believe she said yes when I purposed to her. We were at her moms wedding on the beach. We were sitting on one of the blankets Magnus claimed came from thin air, but it was really summoned from bath and body works. She was in between my legs as she showed me a ring, a herondale ring, I had said "a herondale ring? Where did you.."

"It used to belong to James Herondale," she said. "I don't have a family tree around, so I don't know what that means exactly, but he was clearly one of your ancestors. I remember you saying the Iron sisters would have to make you a new ring because Stephan hadn't left you one- but now you have one"

I slid it onto my right hands ring finger, that's when I had an idea.

"Clary?"

"Yes?"

I got up and took one last look at her, pulled her up and got down on one knee. Her face was confused then brightened.

"Clarrisa Adele Morgernstern, would you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" I said, nervous as all hell.

"Jace... Of course" she weeped. "I love you more then anything in this world, of course!" I got up and swung her around. Looked into my fiancés eyes and kissed her like no tomorrow. She kissed back, long and passionate kisses. By the angel I love her so much.

"I love you more." I said.

"Not possible." she said.

"Yes possible." I had said back.

"Should we tell the others now or later?" Clary said with her glowing green eyes.

"Uhm, now?" I said smiling

"HEY GUYS! GUESS WHAT?!" she yelled to our friends and held up her left hand.

"BY THE ANGEL !!" Isabelle said while running up to me and clary "no way! Jace where did you get the ring?"

"Tessa Gray had it, belonged to a James I guess." stated Clary

"Congrats love birds" said Magnus "I'll start planning the engagement party!"

"Magnus dear, let them tell the parents first, they are going to flip out! Get ready for the "you guys are to young" speech Clary." Alec stated.

"Let's tell them after their wedding party, haha" clary giggled. I love her laugh, it's an amazing sound.

A month later we decided to have dinner to tell my parents and her parents. We are all at the institute having dinner. Clarys mom, Jocelyn talks first.

"So, what's this dinner about guys?"

"Well, I would like to ask both you and Luke formally if I could have your daughters hand in marriage?" I said, nervous and shaky

"Wait what?" Jocelyn said "you want to marry my daughter? Now? At this age? She is 17! You guys are way to young."

"Dear, you were about her age, maybe even younger when you married Valentine," said Luke. "and I believe Jace is a fine young man."

"Yeah, Mom please. You know Jace could protect me." Clary said pleading "I want to marry him please, we won't be getting married right away a year at most."

"Maryse? What is your opinion on this?" asked Jocelyn.

"I think it's a lovely idea, should we decide on a date?" Replied Maryse.

"Well... as long as it's at LEAST 7 months from now, I suppose I'll be okay with this." said Jocelyn

"THANK YOU SO MUCH MOM!" yelled a happy Clary.

9 months later I got married to the love of my life, she looked beautiful in her gold gown. we exchanged runes and went on our honey moon. 5 months later we are here, at this restaurant. And I couldn't be happier.

"Babe?" said Clary

"Oh- yes?" I replied

"We are being seated, you okay?" asked Clary.

"yeah, I'm wonderful" I say and kiss her head "I love you"

She smiled and said "I love you more"

I winked and said "not possible."

"Okay, you guys are cute and all but can you please not be so gushy in front of us?" asked Simon.

"Okay okay sorry." we both said at the same time.

"Clary?" said a familiar voice behind us, a voice that chilled my spine. We all turn around and are shocked by what we see.

"SEBASTIAN?!?" We all say at once.

"Hi.." he says scratching the back of his head. "Look I know you are all confused or whatever about seeing me but, Clary can I speak with you?" he stated.

"I-I I guess" she stutters

"No. No you can't." I spit

"Jace!" clary says and turns to Sebastian. "give me a sec?"

"Sure." he smiled

We walked over by the rest rooms and were silent for a couple minutes. Until I couldn't take it anymore and said "I don't trust him Clary. He kidnapped me, harmed you. Why do you want to talk to him?"

"Remember right before he died? He was good, he wasn't evil. He was the brother I had always wanted. I want to see what he has to say." she said, teary eyed.

"Okay, I'll be with Iz and Simon then. I love you." I said to her.

We walked back and she left with him. I hope she will come back to me, I need her.

Clary's POV

"Okay first off, how are you even alive?!" I asked my brother who is supposed to be dead.

"It's a long story, but the short version is the angels saw how good I was right before I died and didn't think it was right for me to die, when it wasn't my fault to be what I was. That was all Valentines fault, so they granted me life again. I believe you deserve to have the brother you were suppose to have, and I am here to give you that. Even mom that, if she'll have me..." he said

"How do I trust you?" I asked

"You don't, just try and believe me until I give you a reason not to if I ever do." Sebastian replied back.

"Okay.... well then, want to join us for dinner?" I asked, not sure about it myself.

"I would love to, do you think they would mind?" he asked unsure

"Yes, but who cares." I laughed and we walked in.
