Jace's POV
"Iz??? Have you heard anything else from Clary sense yesterday??" I ask my sister
"No... I've tried to talk to her but she blocks it off. I don't know what's happening." she says
"It doesn't ware off or anything right?" i ask Iz as I look at Magnus.
"No, it doesn't. It's for life" he replies simply
"Okay.." I say
"Maybe Sebastian found out and found a way to take care of it?" Iz says with tears forming in her eyes.
"No no, that spell is impossible to reverse or block or anything. Unless the other one dies...." he stopped as soon as he said it "but I doubt he would kill her." he says trying to calm us down. Which isn't working as I notice Izzy rubbing under her eyes to clean away the tears. Then walking straight towards the wall and punching it.
"Fuck!" She hisses "by the angel that was stupid."
"Isabelle... she's fine. Your parabaitai rune is still on your back, so you must know she is okay." I say as I try and reassure her of something I don't entirely believe in myself.
"I just, it feels weird." She sighs
"I know.." I say, "she will return to us. Okay?"
"Okay.." she says back. Not one ounce of her believing it.
Clary's POV
It's morning and I can't seem to get this damn head ache to go away no matter how many pills I take. I feel like someone is literally using a hammer up there.
"Sis?" Bass yells from outside my bedroom "you awake?"
"Yeah, be out in a minute..." I say back. As I get up I get intensively dizzy and have to sit back down again. "Hey Bass, you think I could just sleep today? I'm not feeling good..."
There was a long pause before he spoke "of course. Get some sleep sister. I'll see you later okay?"
"Okay, thank you"
" No problem"
