:Chapter 10:
As Mr. Frank fell to the floor dead and a pool of blood started to form, all of his minions took out their guns and pointed them on the aliens and the aliens pointed their weapons back at them. I didn’t know exactly what to do so I ran over to the Doctor since I didn’t have to pretend anymore.
“Everyone, put down your guns!” the Doctor ordered.
But they didn’t listen.
“Guns down now!” he shouted. “There are over 1 million Cylaphiens in that ship looking down at us at this minute. Anyone shoots, we are all dead, is that clear? Put your guns down!” he repeated.
Slowly, they put their guns away, but not without starring at their invaders intensely.
“Good!” the Doctor nodded. “Cylaphiens, what will it take for you all to leave Earth, and leave it in one piece?”
“There is nothing you could do. The experiment is in 5 minutes!” it laughed and with that, they all took a hold of the ladder and let themselves be pulled up.
“What do we do, Doctor?” I finally spoke since I got here.
“Happy to see you, Jayden,” he smiled. “My TARDIS is at the corner of Georgia Street, where is yours?”
“I believe it’s on Elizabeth road,” I said as I followed him out of the room and into the elevator. It closed and he pressed the button to the ground floor.
“Yours is closer, will take yours,” he nodded. “We’ll travel to on board the ship.”
“Then what?” I asked, waiting for him to give me a well thought out plan.
“I have no idea.”

Crawling through the ship without being detected was easy. Containing myself from bursting with 1000 questions was harder. With his sonic screwdriver – way less cool than a sonic laser – he unlocked the doors we needed to go through and found our way to the control room. There, we simply walk in, not needing to hide from the Cylaphien leader. I look around. Nothing special really. I’ve been on one of these ships before. To my right, I see a large screen with numbers counting down. We had exactly 3 minutes and 47 seconds.
“Hello!” the Doctor smiled once they’d seen us. The leader doesn’t look all that surprised to see us here. “Now, I will give you two options. Very simple. First one and this is the one I like: you and you ship leaves Earth’s orbit immediately, go back to your planet and live happily ever after and whatnot! Second, and this is the one we both won’t like, trust me: I stop you by force. I’m not a fighter really, but I have my ways. So what’s it gonna be?” he went directly to the point with not much time being left.
“You think you are so superior, Doctor. You think you are the soul protector of Earth, a planet you weren’t even born on! But you have no right to give me orders!” the leader shouted back.
The other Cylaphiens all turned to us, pointing guns. As my heart started racing, time seemed to slow down. And with that time given, I devised a plan to take all five down. I also still had a handgun on me. That could be of use.
“I’m being merciful, Alboroth. Leave now,” the Doctor spoke in all seriousness in a voice that would have intimated even me.
“I choose the second option. Let’s see what happens,” Alboroth like the Doctor called him smiled evilly.
“I don’t have to do this.”
“Oh, poor Doctor is too human,” he laughed.
I could see the Doctor swirl his sonic in his hands. He could easily override the system and set the ship in self destruct, but he’s hesitating. Why is he hesitating? A whole world is resting on his shoulders and he pities the ones that wish to destroy it! There is 1 minute and 34 seconds left on the clock as he thinks. I knew he needed time to make in back to the TARDIS before the place explodes.
“Oh, for Pete’s sake!” I complain and take my own sonic, pointing the commands and setting on the self destruct which also shuts down the launch for the bomb.
The Doctor is taken off guard and confused for a moment, but now Cylaphiens are shooting at us. He ducks and hides behind a panel while I head forth – these aliens never had great aim.
I kick there and a punch here, they are soon four on the ground, knocked out or giving up. Lastly, one is running in my direction, pointing his gun straight at me. But I’m faster. Before he pulls the trigger, I take out my own gun and shoot him right between the eyes. I smiled, satisfied with myself before the Doctor grabs my arm and starts pulling me with him back to my TARDIS.
As we run through the halls, we are lucky that the rest of the species ignore us as they run around hysterically to the escape pods.
With a few buttons and levers pressed, lowered and lifted, the TARDIS disappears from the ship just in time.
