Hey hey hey! See what I did there? I added another hey ;) I'm in a super duper good mood right now! Last night, I went looking at prom dressed with my best friend and we tried a few on. I fell in love with this gorgeous red strappless one! I mean it is beatiful! And it wasn't that pricy too ^^ Like, I saw a lot of $600 dresses and that one was $300. I talked to my mom about it when I got home and... Today we bought it! We had to order it cause they didn't have it in my size and color, but in a while, I'll actually have my gorgeous prom dress in my closet! :D I am beyond happy seriously ^^
Anywayyyyyys, this is kind of a little chapter for fun cause not in every chapter does something really important to the story does to happen, right? I loved writing this chapter haha I hope you enjoy and I love yo faces! :P

:Chapter 23:
I had to admit that after that day on Gallifrey with the Doctor, walking through me neighborhood, telling stupid stories of when I was growing up, I loved him even more than before. The way he spoke of River's happiness being his priority just showed me how lucky his wife was to have such a brilliant man. And it made me hate her more because she was so damn lucky.
I was lucky to have him as a friend though. When you think about it, the odds of us meeting in all time are space were slim. But we did. Twice. Maybe somehow we were meant to find each other, but I wasn’t a big believer in faint so I left it to chance. Sadly, the chances I could ever be with him romantically were even slimmer. Even if the Doctor has already been through River’s death, she was around 400 when she passed away. It can take hundreds of years before the Doctor has seen the last younger her that keeps showing up. I hadn’t completely given up yet, but… I was getting there.
That’s why, about a month after Gallifrey, I woke up in the morning and the realization of the time to wait out fell on me like a ton of bricks. And for a second, tears started to rise to my eyes. I pushed them back as hard as I could, but some still manage to roll down my cheeks. I hurried to whip them away and get out of bed to keep myself busy. Shower, clothes, hair, makeup. In 20 minutes, I was in my TARDIS kitchen, looking through the pantry for something to eat.
Right when I was about to take out some cereal, the Doctor showed up, poking his head through the door and smiling widely when he sees he has found me.
“Knew you’d be here! Put those fruit loops away, they aren’t even real fruit in those you know! I thought we’d go out to brunch today. Sounds good? A nice Earth brunch in London,” he said happily as he fixed his bowtie.
I quickly put the box of cereal down and smiled at his exceptional good mood as we walked down the halls to the main controls. Together, we sent it flying through the stars until it landed on the sidewalk. We walked out and a normal everyday conversation began as we looked for a place to eat. Eventually, we passed next to a tattoo place.
“I’ve always wanted to get a tattoo,” I commented. “But then I just remember I’ll regenerate and lose it.”
“I could get tattooed,” he said.
And I laughed.
“You? A tattoo? Doctor, you look like a school teacher. You don’t have that roughness to you for a tattoo. Face it, you aren’t badass enough,” I teased him.
“Oh really? Not badass enough? That hurts, Artemis,” he pretended to be insulted, making me laugh even more.
I regained my seriousness just long enough to reply.
