***45 VOTES FOR CHAPTER 18***
Hey hey! No update this weekend, I'm visiting my boyfriend's hometown with him! I'm so excited! First time far from home with just him ^^ I'm leaving tomorrow night and coming back Sunday :) Sorry about making you guys wait but it's taking me about 3 days to get the votes anyways so it'll be like I never left :)
Now you might say that some of these things don't work with the show, but I wrote this before season 7 started! To make it work, let's say the Doctor started to travel with Artemis right before episode 4 "The Power Of Three" :)
Enjoy and I love yo faces! :P

:Chapter 17:
I could hear the sounds of waves in the distance. Then I felt a pair of lips on mine. Then I felt air filling my lungs, but I still couldn’t breathe. Then I realized where I was and who was kissing me – or rather giving me CPR. I opened my eyes to see the Doctor’s just inches away from mine. He was panicking and on the verge of tears as he pressed his hands against my chest, trying to reanimate me. He hadn’t noticed my eyes were open. And suddenly, I coughed and spat up all the water in my lungs. I started to breath heavily, catching my breath as he sat back and sighed in relief.
“How long was I out?” I asked as I got the last bit of water out of my chest.
“For about 30 minutes I think. I don’t really know, I lost track of time. I-I was scared…” he admitted.
And I looked in his eyes and was terrified. He spent the last 30 minutes in Hell, trying to get me to breathe again without giving up. I sat up and pulled him close to me, wrapping my arms around his neck. He hugged me back tightly and I whispered a thank you in his ear.
We pulled away and sat there for a moment in silence as we watched the sun slowly lowering in the sky. Finally, he broke the quiet.
“Well, at least we have a story to tell now. The time you saved Canada wearing nothing but a bikini.”
And we both laughed for a good five minutes.

“Are you sure? You’d like them a lot, Artemis,” the Doctor said for the billionth time. He had been asking all week.
“Yes I am! The last thing I need is to get attached to another human. Much less two humans. Go on, have fun and if there is anything, you know where to find me,” I smiled to him as I walked towards the door to my own TARDIS.
“At least meet them! You can’t get attached to someone just by meeting them. Besides, they are my parents-in-law,” he continued as he took my hand and pulled me towards to TARDIS door.
“Yes, I know, Doctor. But-“
“But nothing! You don’t have an excuse not to stay and say hi. I want to tell them about you!” he insisted.
Finally, I sighed and gave up. I wasn’t too keened to meeting his parents-in-law since they were the parents to the woman who was married to the Doctor, River Song. And in the last month, I’ve had time to think more about my realization in the underground ship, about me maybe loving the Doctor, and I came to the conclusion that I did, making River a big inconvenience to me. I never asked about her and the Doctor never spoke of her so I knew very little about her, but I was a little jealous of her. Jealous she had the only man in the universe I could actually be with. It seemed so unfair.
The Doctor opened the TARDIS door to a small English village with rows of houses. He walked towards one in particular. I followed and managed to force myself to keep a smile.
The door opened to a man with brown hair and a rather large without being too big nose.
“Rory!” the Doctor, said happily, seeing the man.
“Doctor! What are you doing here?” he asked as he glanced over at me who waved. “And who is she?”
“Haven’t seen you and Amy in a while, thought I’d drop by, maybe take you with me for a few more trips. Where is Amy?” the Doctor asked. “And I’ll explain her when Amy’s there too.”
I felt a little awkward, not knowing what to say. All I could do was keep quiet and follow the Doctor inside. Rory called Amy and a moment later, a girl with flaming red hair, very similar to mine actually, and blue eyes came walking down the stairs into the living room where we had all sat down.
“What do you want, Rory? You’re making me miss top model!” she complained as she stepped into the room.
But a huge smile spread across her face when she caught eye of the Doctor. He stood up and opened his arms to her before she came rushing in for a hug.
“Doctor, what are you doing here?” she asked as they pulled away.
“Haven’t seen you since Christmas which has been a long time ago, thought I’d stop by and pick you two up for a trip! Somewhere nice,” he smiled widely.
I couldn’t help but notice how unbelievable happy he was around these people. I thought of how much they must mean to him and how much he meant to these people…
After they caught up a bit with each other, Amy finally noticed me, sitting on the couch across from her, looking slightly bored.
“Oh, Doctor, you have got to be kidding me! You stop travelling with me for a while so I find yourself another red head?” she said, rolling her eyes.
The Doctor laughed and I couldn’t help but chuckle a little myself.
“Amy, she’s not just some red head and I didn’t pick her us to replace you! I would like you to meet Artemis, the last Time Lady,” he introduced me, smiling ear to ear.
Rory and Amy looked at me with awe and started to question to the Doctor about me and how I was alive. He answered every question and told them how we’ve been travelling together for almost a year and that we were best friends. I didn’t have to say a word.
This continued for a good 20 minutes. The Doctor told them a few of our adventures together and greatly exaggerated how brilliant I was. He said the nicest things about me and I couldn’t help but blush a little.
After a while, we walked over to the Doctor’s TARDIS and we all walked inside. There was no look of surprise on their faces, letting me know they’ve been in here a lot. As they walked to the controls, I walked to the door connecting to my own TARDIS.
“Artemis, where are you going?” Amy asked.
“To my TARDIS. It’s attached to the Doctor’s, I just need to go through this door,” I answered.
“You’re welcomed to stay with us you know,” she smiled nicely.
“Thank you, but no thank you. It was nice meeting you two though.”
“Same here,” she said, a little disappointed that I didn’t want to stay with them.
I waved goodbye and I walked back into my TARDIS, closing the door behind me. It was for the better that I didn’t go. Amy and Rory seemed like nice people, I couldn’t allow myself to befriend them…
