***45 VOTES FOR CHAPTER 19***

Hey hey! Sorry for the wait, I was really busy again. I know I keep using that excuse, but it's true :/ I'm a senior which means I have a lot of schoolwork and I'm behind because I missed so many days with my grandpa's death :S Plus I have to fit in time to spend with my boyfriend because I want to see him and you'll understand the day you have the best boyfriend in the world ^^ I also do improve which takes up my Monday and Friday nights -.- Overload!!! I'm a heach ache away from taking a wattpad break XD But I won't :P

I picked what I want to study in college! It's a french college, but the closest english translation would be "art and letters" which really concentrates on literature and writing and analyzing texts so that sounds very interesting to me ^^

Last thing, with this chapter, I should reach 1000 votes on this story.... THANK YOU!!! :D

Last last things! The reason the Doctor is a lot more emotional with Artemis than he was with River on the show is because around Artemis, he doesn't hold back and he feels more comfortable and less of a need to impress  but Artemis doesn't know that :)

Enjoy and I love yo faces :P

:Chapter 17:

I sat in my bed, leaning against the headboard as I read the pile of books to my right I had picked out. Sure it took a second to read one book, that’s why I had a pile of about one hundred next to me. Books about everything from all over the universe. But my favorites were always the ones from Earth. Human’s were always so… human. If that made any sense. I read a lot these days. I was so bored. I’ve been on a few trips, but they were all so dole without the Doctor around. I finished “Perks Of Being A Wallflower” by Stephen Chbosky and took a moment to think about the meaning of the book, what the author was trying to teach me, what the moral of the story was. I thought of Charlie and how odd and over sensitive he was. Before I knew it, I was lost in thoughts about that book, forgetting about the pile that waited to be read.

“Hey…” I heard and I jumped up startled, throwing the book in the direction to voice came from. It was only a second later that I realized that the Doctor was standing in my door way. And looking very very sad.

I quickly ran up to him, blurting out an apology which I repeated twenty times before I wrapped my arms around his neck and held him close to me. He hugged me back tightly and I heard him sniff loudly as tears ran down his cheeks. I had no clue what was wrong and I didn’t think that mattered. All I wanted is for him to stop crying and smile. Be the happy Doctor I’m so used to being around of. But right now, he was very sad and all I could do was be there for him.

I leaded him to my bed where I sat him down. I kneeled down in front of him, trying to look him in the eyes.

“Doctor, what’s wrong? What happened?” I asked softly, moving a few locks of his brown hair out of his face.

“She’s gone…” he said. “Amy’s dead…”

“I’m sorry… I’m so sorry…” was all I could manage to say to him. The perfect words to say don’t exist.

About an hour later, he had stopped crying and I brought him to the kitchen where I made him a mug of hot chocolate. Somehow, it seemed more appropriate than tea. I sat facing him with my own mug. I had both hands wrapped around it, waiting for it to cool down. I was having trouble looking at the Doctor, he was in so much pain, pain I couldn’t take away, that he just had to face and eventually get over it.
