The hot seat

*Connor's POV*

The guys were all staring at me. Of course their nosy selves wanted to know what was going on and they knew from the look on my face that she texted me. And I felt pretty great!

"What did she say?!" Riley. Always prying for answers. One of these days I'm just going to ignore him and not answer any of his questions, but today I was in too good of a mood to blow off his remarks.

"well we just talked for a bit and I asked her to hang out today." I didn't want to make too big of a deal out of it. I wanna know how things between Dani and I go.

I want things to go well between us. And right now I couldn't ask for anything more. There's something about her that sets her apart from all the other girls I've met before. Sure it helps that she's not some crazed fan, but she really is breathtaking... Her petite stature and lucious brown hair that flows down to her waist... Her chocolate brown eyes and smooth olive skin... The slight rosiness in her cheeks and perfectly plump lips...

"Connor...? You okay there dude?" Thomas asked, breaking me away from the daze I was caught in.

"yupp! Never better but I gotta think of something for us to do..." I bit my lip. What are we supposed to do? I don't want to be alone with her yet. With my luck I'd screw up everything and I would end up kicking myself afterwards.

"why don't you have her come over!?" of course Riley would want her to come over...I mean I do want her to come over... I just don't want Riley to be near her.

"I don't know," I need to change the subject now. Let's put Braiden in the hot seat, "so braiden! What up with you and that chick?" he hasnt said a word during this conversation.

"oh um...I got her number," he half smiled and all the attention was drawn away from me over to him,"and that's it."

"that's it my ass. Text her!" I threw a pillow at his face and he threw it back at me. The sad part is that he missed. I swear he can aim at anything in Call of Duty but put a football on his hands and I'm sure a two year old has better aim than him.

"what am I supposed to say?!" poor Braiden... Naive little braiden.

"how bout you text her and tell her that you want to hang out? Then she can come over with Dani and Connor doesn't have to worry about Dani feeling awkward or anything." who knew Thomas was smart!? This is actually a pretty good idea...

"perfect!" the only word that could describe how good this idea was without Thomas' head growing three sizes too big.

"umm... Sure I guess that could work..." of course he was nervous but he picked up th phone and texted her.

After a few minutes of him looking at his phone and smiling he looked up and gave us the thumbs up of approval. Dani and Adri were coming over.

Now... What am I supposed to wear?
