*Dani's POV*

On our way home my smile failed to fade. I probably looked really stupid but so what? who cares! I'm happy and thats all that really mattered at the moment. I couldn't help but think about the events that just occurred. I was so happy that I even made the bold decision to let Adri drive. I figured that she was happy too since Braiden had asked her to go to the concert, so she wasn't going to risk being a stupid driver. "I can't wait for tomorrow! Its going to be so much fun!"

"Yeah, except for the fact that we have our midterm to study for." Of course she would be a Debbie Downer and try to change the subject at the same time. Just because this Braiden boy has a girlfriend. I'm sure he wasn't trying to lead Adri on, maybe all he really needed was a friend and she was in the right place at the right time.

I love Adri, like a sister really, but sometimes she tends to overreact or read into things too much. For all I know, Braiden was just being friendly. I don't know. I could be wrong. "It shouldn't be that hard if you took notes. Besides I wasn't even talking about that. I was talking about the concert!" I already knew that she knew what I was talking about. I just had to make that clear and I wasn't going to let her change the subject yet.

"I took plenty of notes...and I dunno. I don't think I'm up for going to a concert," she let out a sigh, "I think I'll just stay home tomorrow night. Especially if I fail this stupid exam."

Can I just punch her in the face? Please?

I took in a deep breath, "We're going to that concert," I saw her face fill with anxiety, "and thats final."

We got back to the house and she threw herself onto the couch, "You can't make me go." Challenge accepted.

I smirked, "You're right...I can't make you do anything. Only advise. Usually when I advise you and you do it, it all works out in the end." I could tell that she knew I was right, she just didn't wanna show it.

"well it's not gonna work this time. Got it?!" she was definitely trying to stand her ground.

"Alright... I'll just go by myself and have a wonderful time seeing Braiden break up with his girlfriend." She's going to take the bait. I just know it.

"what?"

"oh nothing... Connor told me about what was going on between them and Braiden is planning on breaking up with her tomorrow."

Line.

"Really...?" she bit her lip.

"Yeah but you're not going...and for all you know he's really into you."

Sinker.

"I guess..."she sighed and reached for the remote.

I always got my way. Especially when it comes to it being in her best interest. "I thought so." I twirled around on my heels and skipped my way to the room. Challenge? Not in the least.
