Just another love story

*Dani's POV*

It was magical. The first glimpse of his crystal blue eyes.

Nothing but pure joy filled every ounce of my body. I've never felt such a strong and instant connection between two people before. The sparks were flying faster and brighter than those of fireworks on the evening of the fourth of July. I caught his name briefly but memorized it fast; I knew this name and face wouldn't leave my mind for as long as I could.

Connor. Connor McDonough. Not only were his eyes like pools of melted Saphire, his hair was a sandy blonde color, and smile was instantly engraved into the depths of my mind.

Caught in this daze I quickly snapped out of it as my friend, Adri, was calling for my attention. "Dani...?"

"huh?!" I didn't realize him and I were making eye contact for so long. I wish it lasted even longer...

"Why don't you just go talk to him? It's not like it's obvious you're into him..." she smirked and nudged my arm.

I was caught off guard and speechless. What was I supposed to say? I felt like any possible thing that I could say would be stupid. With my luck and awkward self it would be.

It was.

I started slowly walking towards him and looked back at Adri who was already making her way over to a taller brunette fellow. Connors eyes were fixed on me as I made my way through a crowd of fan girls throwing themselves onto him, begging for pictures and autographs. I finally stood face-to-face with him and the first idiotic words that came into my mind and shot out of my mouth were: "you have amazing eyes". Sure it sounds like a nice compliment but to me I felt like I could've started off with my name and a simple hello.

He smiled and said in a smooth even tone, "thanks, your eyes are breathtaking..." I don't know why he said it. Maybe he was being nice or really meant it. But I don't see the beauty in my brown, almond shaped eyes.

"Thanks," my voice was horse that day from getting over a cold, "my name is Dani." I smiled and shook his hand.

" You're welcome. I'm Connor." he smiled and my heart melted seeing how unbelievably straight and white his teeth were. We made conversation about him and the band that he's in: Before You Exit. I hadn't heard of the band but apparently they had many fans already.

We met at a concert. Before You Exit wasn't performing but they had gone to see the band The Crazy Carls. Adri had recently introduced me to their music and we decided to see how they were live. The point is that Connor and I were talking about him and his band, and the band that had just performed. It seemed like there was no one on the room but us. We were both caught in a daze that can only be described as a dream and the night that I discovered that love at first sight was not a myth but a reality.

It seemed as if we were talking for hours but it had only been a meare 15 minutes.
