*Dani's POV*

I pulled into the driveway and checked my phone to confirm the address matched up. For some reason I hoped that I read it wrong so I could drive around a bit more to calm my nerves."we're here..." I didn't seem so confident in my statement but Adri and I got out of the car and rung the doorbell.

"how do I look?" Adri asked me. I was kinda confused because usually she didnt care about what people thought of her.

"you look great!" I smiled wide and started to feel my body shake. I have know idea why I was so nervous, I had only just met Connor and I'm not even looking to be in a relationship or anything. And to all I know , he has a girlfriend and just wants to be friends which I'm kind of okay with...

Suddenly the door opened and Riley greeted us with open arms. "hey strangers," he said in a playful but literal tone. The situation was so odd, really,"Good to see you Dani!" he hugged me as if we knew eachother and he held me tight.

"Hi Riley," he was still hugging me, "this is my friend, Adri!" he finally released me from the hug and shook her hand.

"Nice to meet you, Braiden has already told us what he knows about you at least five times," he winked and looked back at me, "I'm sorry I'm a bad host, please come in!" he smiled and let us into the house. He led the way over to the living room where Braiden, and A boy I'm guessing was Thomas, were sitting on the couch.

Connor wasn't in sight though...

The boys stood up and greeted us and introduced themselves. Braiden and Adri were both looking really shy and judging by the smile and glow on his face when she walked in, he was glad that she as here. I was too focused on trying to figure out where Connor was to realize that Adri and Braiden had walked out to the porch and left me there standing awkwardly.

"well, Connor should be coming out anytime now," Riley started saying, "he's just being a total girl and had to find the perfect thing to wear." he winked at me and I felt a bit of relief to know that Connor feels the same way about presence as I do. Guess I picked a good day to care about how I look.

"that's fine, no big deal," I said calmly, "he can take his time if he wants." I smiled and sat next to Thomas on the couch. To be honest, Thomas is sort of attractive. He has short brown/black hair, he's really tan, and seems to be in good shape. Riley, him, and I started to chat and just as I was feeling more comfortable, he walked into the living room.

It was as if my whole body froze and I had no idea how I was supposed to stand up. In this lighting he was definitely way more attractive than I thought! He was wearing a striped blue and white shirt, khakis, and white Nikes. Our eyes met and I was able to stand up. He looked me up and down and I wasn't sure if he was checking me out or if I had just chosen the wrong outfit. Then he finally opened his mouth. "hey," he smiled shyly and I felt my face getting red. Crap! He made his way over to me and he hugged me awkwardly,"you look great!" so he was checking me out...

"thanks, you look great too..." that was an understatement. His eyes seemed even bluer than I recall and I felt as If I could stare into them for the rest of my life. He revealed his perfect smile and I couldn't help but do the same. My nerves had washed away from my body and I felt more than comfortable just looking at him.

"are you guys just gonna stand there and stare at eachother?" I averted my eyes to Riley who was staring at me with an eyebrow raised. Guess I'm only allowed to gaze into his older brothers eyes for so long.

"guess not in here," Connor snapped at Riley, then he looked back at me and winked, "we can just head up to the game room." guess I was gonna be alone with him after all...
