*Braiden's POV*

Water! I need water!

You would think that after you get off the stage there would be a water cooler or something. But no. I had to venture for it and as soon as I got my hands on a water bottle, I chugged it down.

I gotta admit, It was a great concert! The audience was having almost as much fun as I was, but I spent most of my time searching the crowd for her. I had to talk to her as soon as possible.

"Psst!" I heard from behind me, "Braiden!" I grabbed another bottle of water before turning around. She was standing there smiling, excited to see me. I wonder why.

"Oh hey, Tayler." I half smiled and she lightly held my hand, "How are you?"

"I'm doing pretty well, and the concert was great by the way!" her face lit up and she quickly kissed me. "I miss you..." she bit her lip.

Tayler and I have been dating for a few months now and I have or...had (still not sure) feelings for her. We haven't seen much of each other. She's busy launching her singing career and I've been busy with the band.

Lately, things haven't been the same between us. We've been growing apart and it kinda sucks. I try to make all the time in the world available for us when I can, but she always seems to be busy with everything but me. The last time we actually hung out and had a good time was two weeks ago. She came over and we sat around my house watching old movies, eating popcorn, laughing and just enjoying each others company. We didn't have a care in the world and it was as if nothing could go wrong.

Back when everything was perfect. Simple. Happy.

"I miss you too. You've been a stranger lately." I bit my lip and she noticed the disappointment in my eyes. I really did miss her. Even after our argument last week.

____________

"This isn't all my fault!" she yelled through the phone. "You've been too busy with your stupid band too! It can't all be about you!"

I knew it couldn't be all about me. But she didn't have to call the band stupid, "At least I've been trying to keep in contact and attempted to make time for us!" I retorted. She could definitely be selfish, but this was taking it to a new level.

"I've been busy too. I have a life besides you."

__________

That hurt. And thats when I hung up. I couldn't deal with her nonsense at the time. But I did talk to her after. Things have been rocky though.

"yeah... Things have been..." she searched for the word. But I knew what she was going to say.

"complicated. I know." I sighed and squeezed her hand.

And that's when I had to do it. I had to speak up and do it before it was too late.

"I still love you, you do know that...right?" her eyes were hopeful and she gently lifted my chin up to see my face.

I didn't know what to say. But I had to say something. Quick.
