Lucinda's POV

I'm so glad things are getting back to normal.

I finally took over my mother's restaurant and now I'm multitasking my architectural job and being a restaurant owner, there is so much to do in such little time.

Finding waiters and waitresses, and  Mrs Mendez had informed me that Chris stopped working there like 3 years ago and Sam left for Indonesia a year ago.

The business was going downhill as the money from the other restaurant in Porto was only able to finance one restaurant.

I'm glad I got there in time or everything would be gone by now.

The hardest part would be getting a fully qualified chef cause I don't like these funny stories of cooks that can't cook and then everything is ruined, all that food poisoning shit ain't working with me, next thing is you hear I'm sued because Betty ate some uncooked sushi from my restaurant, hell no

Okay I know sushi ain't cooked but I mean it like

"What are you thinking about?" Juano cut me from my thoughts

I faced the road as he was gazing  at me. I rubbed my temple gently.

"Nothing" I sighed heavily

"Long day ?" He smiled at me

"Please just drive, I'm not in the mood for a conversation right now." I ushered my hand at the road, he obeyed silently and kept driving.

He is turning out to be more than I expected, a gentleman and we don't really argue anymore.

Well not that much anyways

The drive home was quiet, it was a bit dark and Voye was already picked up and at home with the house help, I got a maid from the market, she seemed quite disciplined and kind I trusted her with my daughter.

Well I trust her a little.

The car turned into the parking of the house and went to a complete stop, I faced him from the passenger seat next to the driver seat as he kept tapping the steering wheel,these days I was so comfortable with him I didn't have to sit at the back of the car anymore.

He continued tapping the steering wheel until I got annoyed.

"Can you not" I commanded

"Why do you always have a problem with everything" he questioned

"I don't " I assured him

"Yes you do" he faced me

Ugh this bitch

"You know what goodnight" I struggled to open the door but he had locked the car with us inside.

Fuckin bastard

"Would unlock the car" I stopped fiddling with the car door

"Not until you tell why you're so rude to me " he smirked then tightened his jaw

Bloody hell

"Okay sorry, now unlock the car" I trued to reach the keys but he was too fast in grabbing them

"Apologizing is not answering my question" his face was emotionless.

"Ugh fine, because you're annoying" I felt his hand tug me quickly and he lifted me onto his lap. It was so fast I didn't even feel the movement.

What a man

I was straddling around him, my back pressed onto the steering wheel.

He leaned closer to me

"I thought you like being annoyed" his voice was calm and sexy.

"Oh please" my voice was came out more hostile than it was actually supposed to be

He didn't say anything but just passed me, his gaze dropped from my face to my breasts.

What a pervert

"Hey! Up here" I hissed

His grip tightened around my waist.

His touch so gentle but yet rough at the same time.

How did he know I like to be held like this.

Reality hit me when he planted his lips on mine.

I was so shocked it took me a second to realise what was happening.

He ran his tongue gently on my lower lip asking for entrance and I did the first thing I could think of

I pushed him away and slapped him

Okay I was getting waaaay to used to slapping him but it was a instinct what could I do.

He didn't say anything but just looked amused as if he knew I would slap him.

"How dare you-" he cut me off with another kiss.

This time he demanded for entrance, I opened my mouth and felt his tongue throbbing inside me. His tongue wrestled with mine as his kiss deepened and became more hungry, it was so demanding.

The whole world was blocked out, it had been so long I forgot how it felt to touched and to be kissed.

I felt his hands unzipping my dress at the back.

Wooouuuw! Hold your horses mister.

I tried to push him off but he had me well wrapped around him.

My body tingled as his hands made contact with my bare back.

His lips went from mine to my neck then behind my ear slowly nibbling there. He traced my skin with his kisses as he further removed my dress his lips on my chest going to my breast until we heard a knock at the window.

He closed his eyes to wash off the anger he felt.

I was a bit annoyed just when things were getting steamy.

Really why now

Of all the time you had to knock you choose now

I faced the window and saw the maid looking at us in shock.

I felt so embarrassed

I dismissed her with my hand.

As soon as she left I immediately dressed myself and got off him.

I got out of the car in a rush.
