Chapter Thirteen

Karly's POV

I woke up at 4am due to snoring and thunder. I grabbed my phone and headed down the stairs.

Everyone is still sleeping because it's the weekend and nobody gets up early on the weekend for any reason.

I sat on the couch and turned on my phone. I began to read some more fan tweets.

I love you and Taylor tell everyone I said hi.

Some were weird because I'm not telling the boys that they said hi.

I began to drift asleep. My eyes slowly shut when I heard foot steps which woke me back up. I watched a shadow of one of the guys walk to the kitchen.

I watched as someone opened the fridge and pull out water.

I hid under Matt's orange blanket that he left on the coach. I heard foot steps come closer to me. I felt a heavy body sit on me.

"Ouch" I cried.

The startled body jumped up.

"Oh my god! Karly?" the voice was Hayes.

"I didn't see you there, I'm so sorry" Hayes sat next to me trying to apologize as much as he could.

"You didn't see me but I saw your butt" I laughed trying to make light of the conversation but stay quiet so nobody woke up.

"It's not my fault you blend in with the couch" he took a sip of his water.

"Why are you up so early?" I asked sitting up straight.

"The storm... and Nash" he laughed.

"Why are you up?" he asked back at me.

"You...Nash...Dad...Matt...Cameron" so pretty much everyone woke me up.

"I don't snore" he snipped.

"You talk in your sleep that's for sure" I giggled.

I grabbed the TV remote and turn on the tv. I turned down the volume so nobody heard it.

"You like Spongebob?" I asked giving him some of the blanket. It was always freezing in this house at night thanks to Taylor who cranks the air conditioning.

"Who doesn't" he said cuddling up in the blanket. My heart skipped a beat as he scooted closer.

My eyes became really heavy and Hayes looked like he was gonna pass out too.

I slowly closed my eyes.

"You know, I just met you but I really like you" he said resting his head on the arm of the coach.

I liked him back, I smiled and leaned my head on Hayes shoulder and fell asleep.
