Karly's POV
I took one last glance at my empty room, the hard wooden floors that creak when you step, light blue walls that reflected the light, and big windows that let the light shine in enough to light the hallway up too.
"Goodbye" I whispered with a lump in my throat. Sounds stupid that I'm about to cry, but this is my first real home. I grew up here. I've never experienced a real family home until this house.
"Karly are you ready?" I heard Nash call. This will probably be the last time I hear my name be yelled in the halls.
"Be down in 10" i yelled back.
"Yes sir" he yelled.
"Would you two shut up" Cameron yelled from his bedroom.
I dragged my hand against my cold empty wall. My fingers softly brushed against the wall and then the door as I walked out of the room, it felt like I was in a dramatic movie scene.
I took one look and blew a kiss at my room capturing one last memory of it I shut the door and slowly walked away.
Five minutes later i found myself competing against Hayes. We each had to turn on and off every sink, every shower, turn on and off every light in every room, flush every toilet and slam every door one last time before we left.
Of course Hayes beat me due to his athletic abilities. I caught up with my breath and sat on the plain white living room carpet. I pet the carpet one last time and got back up.
"Le'go" Dad said walking outside.
I looked around one last time and said goodbye. The ocean themed kitchen, the dark living room that never got enough light, the hallway to the garage door that had no light what so ever.
I walked into the grass and stood infront of our house capturing that one last look.
The big blue three story house stood tall and wide. The grey roof soaked in the sun rays and the faited grey window shutters continued lossing its original color.
I didn't get to say goodbye to the pool but we were getting a newer one for indiana. I got into dads Rover and buckled up. I set my black backpack on my lap.
I scrabbled around looking and making sure I had everything in there I needed for the long drive to Indiana.
I went threw my metal check list

Everything was good and ready to go.
I stared out the window as dad started the car. I stared at the house as we backed out of the driveway. I stared at the house until I couldn't see it no more. The change was happening, new home, new state, new life.
