Karly's POV

It wasn't till 10 pm when things started to make me more anxious.
I wasn't hungry for dinner or sleep.

Nobody had arrived home yet, nobody answered the calls and texts.

Hayes rocked Noah back and forth in the rocking chair as we sat in the nursery. I paced back and worth trying not to panic.

"Kar, calm down it will be fine, they probably just made more plans" Hayes cooed.

"Without telling us, they could be in trouble, hurt, or dead" I panicked.

"They're fine" Hayes said trying to relax me.

The more I thought about it the more  I worried, but like Hayes said maybe they made more plans like to see a movie, or visit old friends, or something else. Would it really take that long? The thoughts started to take the best of me.

My eyes watered a little thinking about them in a car accident or killed by a murderer. Hayes set Noah in the crib once he fell asleep.

I lied on the extra bed in the nursery and tried not to worry. Hayes crawled in the bed next to me.

He pulled me into his warm chest cradling my head in his hands.
I started to feel more relaxed as he stroked my hair and repeated "shh it's all good."

Once I slowly started to fall asleep there was loud yelling outside. My eyes shot out and my heart started beating, the front door swung open the yelling was closer.

Yelling and crying filled the air. My heart popped out of my chest.
I looked towards Hayes who was sound asleep.

I crawled out of the bed and pressed my ear against the door.

"Calm down"

"I'm calling the emergency room"

"They wouldn't help this"

"Dude breath"

Someone sounded hurt. I opened the door quietly and peeked over the wall where a good view of the living room was without anyone seeing

Cameron and Nash held dad's arm as they pinned him against the couch. Dad's face burning red and dripping with sweat and tears.

Bailey stood behind them holding his long hair out of his steaming face.
Dad kicked and screamed trying to pull away from Cameron and Nash.

I watched as Matt tried to give him water but he just kicked it away.
My heart raced faster then a car going 160.

This was scary to watch, I had no idea what was happening. Seeing him cry so hard and yell so loud made me cry.

Warm salty tears rolled down my red cheeks. I held back the cry so nobody would hear me. Everyone knows I'm emotional.

I heard loud foot steps pounding against the stairs. I quickly jumped back into bed next to Hayes pretending to sleep.

I listened as a door opened and slammed, foot steps ran back down the stairs. I gave it a minute just incase before I looked again.

I cupped my hands over my mouth so I wouldn't make a sound.

"Stop" Dad screamed from the top of his lungs gagging.

"Taylor look at me Taylor, breathe its gonna be fine shh, shh just breathe" I heard Bailey call to Taylor.

I squinted my eyes and clenched my fist to the sound of his cries, it will be cries that will never leave my memory.

"What do we do?" Cameron yelled over cries.

"An emergency room isn't gonna do shit" Nash commented.

"Call a mental hospital I guess" Cameron said. It didn't sound like he was injured which was a relief.

I accidentally choked out a small but loud cry as I uncovered my mouth.
I held my breath as I hoped nobody heard that.

It was now one in the morning. As soon as the sound came out of my mouth everyone shut up.

I quickly covered my mouth back up.

"I'm calling the police" Matt cried panicking.

"What the hell are they gonna do!" Cam shouted.

"I don't know!" Matt yelled back.

"911." Matt spoke.

I started to listen closer.

"We need help, my friend is freaking out we have no idea what's going on"
dad started yelling and kicking again.

"He won't say what's happening we just need help or something"

"Alright thank you"

"Help is coming" Matt said pulling his hair back.
