Taylor's POV

My life is really messed up right now. Everything was so stressing with Karly, going to court and another tour. I want to give up sometimes but it will never pay off to quit.

I sat on the couch with my head in my hands thinking. I heard little foot steps walk towards me. I automatically knew they were karly's foot steps because they sure as hell weren't Nash or Matt's.

Karly sat down next to me. I felt her arms wrap around my back. Karly gave me a big hug. I took my face out of my hands and hugged her tightly.

"I love you dad, even if you don't win this and I have to live with the other guy, you will always be my dad" she said, her words broke my heart, I hugged her tighter. I couldn't help but let a little tear slide out as I replayed the words 'you will always be my dad'

The people from the adoption agency warned me about Karly's real dad being released from jail a few years ago.

"We're gonna win honey, and even if we don't I will still love you and think of you every night, even if we loose you you will still be my daughter" I told her back.

I heard her sniffle and do that heavy breathing thing people do when they cry. It's really weird.

I held Karly on my lap and I rocked her back and forth running my fingers threw her smooth hair.

Even if she is 14 now she's still my little girl. Karly soon fell asleep, I picked her up and carried her to her bed.

I sat her down carefully trying not to wake her up and kissed her on her forehead. It brought back the memory of carrying her to bed when she was seven and telling her the 'magic fairy' did it.

"I love you" I whispered as I walked out her room.

*The Next Day*

Karly's POV

I walked down the stairs to find breakfast on the table like always. The boys were all hurrying out the door.

They all looked very nice with their button up shirts, bow ties, dress pants, and knowing them of course they had Vans on.

"Dillon is picking you up in 10 minutes by the way" Matt said walking out the door.

If you didn't know already, Dillon Rupp is my dad's best friend, he went on tour with us so I knew him pretty well, and he comes over a lot sometimes to hangout with Dad and the guys. He's basically my uncle, my favorite uncle. I don't consider Nash, Matt, and Cam my uncles.

Ten minutes later there was a knock on the door. I peeked threw the front window to see know it was, just Dillon.

I opened the door and like I said there was Dillon only he had Aaron with him.

"Taylor said we should just stay here and hang" Dillon said. I let them in and they sat down on the coach.

•At The Court•

Taylor's POV

I listened to the judge blabber on about crap that everyone already knew. I just wanted to be home with Karly.

"Taylor Caniff please stand up" the judge said in her stern voice, I stood up like she said.

"David Williams please stand up" she said again and he stood up.

Blah blah blah, business business.

"Mr. Caniff, you adopted Karla when she was seven, correct?"

The judge asked.

"I fostered her when she was seven and went on to adopting her" I corrected.

"You feed her every night, provided education, and make sure she's healthy, correct?" she asked.

"Correct"

The judge talked for awhile then finally we could leave.

"Tomorrow I would like to see Karla Caniff Williams here to determine who takes custody over her" the judge finalized.

We finally left. I was relieved that nothing bad happened yet today, but Tomorrow could be bad.
