Chapter Fourty-Eight

Matthew's POV.

This was all a big shocker, I always wanted to be a dad, Karly was like a daughter when she was little, now that she grew up she's more like a bro.

I wanted to support Bailey and our baby. I wanted to try to be the best dad ever. The only part I feared was breaking the news to the boys, my family, and Bailey's family.

I decided to only tell Nash, Cameron, and Taylor for now and Bailey would tell only her closes friends.

The next morning Bailey and I scheduled a doctors appointment for next week. Till then I had news to break.

I walked down the hall and ran into Nash.

"Congrats man" he said patting me on the back.

"Bailey told you?" I asked confused.

"No man, don't think nobody saw the test sitting right by the trash can" he said continuing walking down the hall.

Well that's one less person I had to tell. The first person I saw besides Bailey and Nash was Taylor.

I sat down on the couch next to him.

"Hey Tay?" I asked nervously.

"Yes matt" he said giving me a childish face.

"I like your bandana today, okay bye" I said getting off the couch and running into the kitchen.

"I know what you were gonna say!" he yelled from the living room.

I leaned onto the kitchen counter with my face in my hands. I heard someone walk into the kitchen and open the fridge behind me.

"Congrats baby daddy" Cameron said with his mouth stuffed with bread.

"How did you know?" I asked.

"Karly" I said shoving more food into his face hole.

Great Karly knew.

I went outside and sat on the deck.

"Congratulations!" Karly yelled from the other side of the yard, jumping on the trampoline.

"Thanks" I yelled under my breath.

One week later

Bailey's POV

Today I go to the doctors with Matt.
I'm excited to hear the heart beat and so is Matt.

We walked into the pregnancy center.
Out of a room full of pregnant women everyone stares at me.

"Bailey Whites" the nurse called.

"Lets go" Matt said holding my hand.

"And how far along are you?" she asked as she led us to the room.

I looked at Matt to see if he knew.

"About a couple weeks" I said.

"Alright, have a seat right here and we'll get started" she smiled.

We waited as she looked for the babies heart beat.

I looked over at Matt who had a big smile on his face.

"Do you want to hear dad?" she asked Matt.

Matt and I both listened.

Matt held the biggest grin ever.
