Karlys POV

"Hi" Hayes raspy morning voice called.

I looked behind me and spotted Hayes standing behind me as I sat on the couch.

"Hi" I said softly.

He pecked my cheek with his lips.
He jumped over the couch and sat next to me.

"Is anyone home?" I asked.

"No they all left, we're babysitting Noah by the way" he explained.

"We or you?" I laughed.

"Us. They all went out for breakfast while you were sleeping" He added.

That would explain why I didn't see anyone and nobody was fighting for the TV.

"Well where is he?" I asked wondering why he was babysitting Noah and not watching him.

"In his highchair eating Cheerios" He giggled.

I got up and pulled my hair back into a messy bun. I walked to the dining room where Noah was playing with his food.

I sat at the table next to him.

He made a grunting sound as he chewed his cereal. I side smiled at his little face.

Hayes walked in and opened the fridge. He looked so much older then when I first met him when we were twelve, we were now 17 how did the time slip away?

Just the other day I was small and innocent like Noah. Now I'm this big mess.

Hayes had changed so much from when we were twelve and first met. He used to be a small scrawny boy with the longest shaggiest hair that flew in his eyes. Now he's a big guy with muscles and shorter hair.

I rubbed my eyes taking a deep breath.

"Want something to drink?" Hayes said dropping the milk carton on the counter.

"No" I groaned still waking up.
Hayes poured the milk into a blue plastic bottle for Noah and a glass for himself.

I imagined in my head Hayes being a dad on day. Taking care of his little son for the day.

I watched as Hayes wobble to the highchair and handed Noah the bottle.

I carried him to the couch where all three of us sat down. I placed Noah in the middle of me and Hayes so he wouldn't climb off.

I turned on Spongebob and dimmed the lights.

Noah soon fell asleep as did Hayes.

I put my head by there's and tried to sleep too.

"I still love you" Hayes whispered.
