3rd Person PoV:

James groaned to himself and struggled to breath through the desperation for the things he was being starved of.

He didn't remember the sun.

The feeling of warmth.

He didn't remember how it felt to be free.

The wind gently brushing through your hair.

His mum.

He remembered the way she looked. She has blonde hair.

Or... Did he get that from his dad?

He knew she had blue eyes.

Or where they grey?

Maybe... Green?

It was no use.

James Adams was gone.

He gave up the struggle and sat against the hard wall he had been held against for... Days? Weeks? Years?

He was sitting in his own shit. His own loss that has been there for days, but no one cares as he was forced to watch Rana die.

Caroline turn inside out.

Payton commit suicide.

They were at peace now.

They were asleep.

Sleep was good.

James couldn't remember the last time he had a peaceful sleep.

A sleep he would never wake from.

Chanelle looked up at the ceiling and blinked tears from her eyes.

She couldn't remember how it felt to be happy.

She couldn't remember how it felt to smile.

She remembered Max.

She remembered that time when she went against everything her brain screamed at her and leant in toward him.

The feeling of her lips pressing against his soft and plump ones.

She remembered for it felt when he took her hand and pulled her away with him.

She remembered his promise.

A stupid promise.

But she held onto it.

She was dangling dangerously by that thin string of hope.

Knowing she wasn't going to make it out alive.

Max had his eyes closed.

Each shallow breath brought him closer to death.

Each year that fell reminded him how he wasn't in control of his own life anymore.

He remembered happiness.

He remembered warmth.

He remembered freedom.

He remembered Love.

He remembered Rana.

He remembered Caroline.

He remembered Payton.

He remembered mum and dad.

He remembered Leo.

He remembered James and Chanelle.

Tilly.

Most of all he remembered Harvey. And he wanted to take them all to heaven with him and let them know just how much he loves them.
