Part 48 | Birthday!

Namjoon placed the cake on the table and unboxed it... He only had like 10 minutes before Jin shows up so he switched on the television and put on some smooth music with low volume to suit the situation...

Since it was 3 in the noon so he decided to shut the drapes to give the room a soothing feeling... He then cleaned up the room a lit bit... Throwing his duffle bag in his room... He has already asked the room service guy to bring some movie DVDs, which came in minutes... That's all he can do now...

Soon he heard the sound of washroom door click opened... So he hurriedly lit up the candles and switched off the light of the room... All he has to do now is wait...

Jin didn't come out of the room for several minutes, Namjoon panicked thinking that Jin might have slept or something... It was totally ruining his plan... The candles were melting...

He was about to get up and see what's taking so long when the door opened and the boy came out fidgeting on his phone...

Namjoon stood there frozen, it became awkward for him... He can't think of anything now...

Jin felt a sudden change in environment so he lifts his head up... And saw a homey view around him... Dim light scattered in the room, slow music and comfort...

Namjoon opened his mouth to actually sing a Happy birthday song for him but then he stopped and just gestured his hands towards the cake...

Jin's eyes fall on the cake and then he looked at Namjoon with a "are you kidding me" look...

NJ: WHAT?

Jin: Dude, I am 20 now... This cake thing is sweet but it doesn't go with my personality you know... *pointing out at his body*

Namjoon's face fell instantly... How does Jin manage to embarrass him over and over again...

Jin saw Namjoon's died up energy and cursed himself for making jokes at the wrong time... He walked towards him...

Jin: Hey, I was just joking... Seriously... *wearing an apologetic smile*

Namjoon didn't reply... he just sat down on the couch completely ignoring Jin...

Jin: Hey...

Still no reply... Namjoon just picked up a magazine and pretended to read it...

Jin: Okay, Sorry... I am d*ck...

NJ: *eyes darted on the magazine* Yes you are...

Jin: *smiling* Okay... Now let's cut the cake... *picking up the plastic knife*

NJ: I am not celebrating with you...

Jin: Hey... I am blowing up the candles now...

He blew the candles... And waited for Joon to wish him...

Jin: C'mon... AT LEAST SING THE BIRTHDAY SONG...

NJ: *sighing* Okay, at one condition...

Jin: what condition?

NJ: Say you are a bitch...

Jin: *chuckling* What... Hell no...

NJ: Okay... Then no birthday wishes for you...

Jin: Okay stop throwing tantrums now...*exhaling* I am a dog... Happy?

NJ: NO! I said bitch... *Folding his hands on his chest*

Jin pulled Namjoon towards him and held him by his waist...

Jin: Are you playing hard to get here?
