(also not sure if I screamed about this fanart-but look at Seb's face. He's just like "yeah you're freaking out rn but i love you" and Jim's just a concerned bunny hhh)

Pacing around his bedroom, smashed clocks surrounding him, Jim waited for Seb's return. Worst case scenarios flew around in his mind, but he silently dismissed them.

Seb couldn't be dead. He was better than any other assassin Jim ever met.
He wouldn't do something stupid on this mission.

Damnit. Why was he so worried? Was it something to do with the way Seb could make his heart do odd things and make him happy no matter what?

Dismissing his thoughts once again, Jim sat on the edge of his bed and waited.

"Damnit!" Seb hissed when the sirens grew closer to the bleeding assassin's location. "Gotta keep 'em away from boss..."

Tossing his weapons aside, Seb carefully climbed into a random apartment, waiting for the sirens to die down.

Glancing at his bleeding shoulder and lower arm, Seb sighed. Normally Jim would patch him up but Jim wasn't here.

Carefully tearing his shirt, Seb did a quick bangadge job.

Waiting a few more hours before carefully getting home, Seb braced himself for a scolding from his boss.

Jim jumped when the door open. He ran out and stared at Seb, tears suddenly welling in his eyes.

"Boss?" Seb asked, concerned. Jim said nothing but gripped his assassin in a tight hug, a few tears leaking from his tightly shut eyes.

"Thought you were dead," he mumbled, opening his eyes to check for wounds.

Poorly bandaged ones rested on Seb's arm. Sighing, Jim dragged Seb into his bedroom, taking off the shirt bandaging.

"Er...did you miss me?"

"Don't you dare start with that," Jim growled, cleaning the wounds and then properly bandaging. Seb chuckled lightly, shaking his head.

Jim huffed, grabbing Seb's shirt and yanking the taller down into a passionate kiss.

Seb's eyes widened before shutting, kissing back.
