"Boss? Boss, where are you? I can't see." Seb started to panic. I gently rested my hands on his shoulders. "Jim?"

"I'm here, tiger." I softly said.

"W-What happened?" he asked, panic evident in his tone.

"You're going to be blind for a bit, tiger." I quietly said. "I'm sorry."

"W-What?" he sounded shocked, then tears filled his eyes. "P-Please don't fire me, Jim. I-I'm scared."

He was scared. Sebastian Moran was scared. That statement will shake any who knew him. He was fearless, yet here he was, admitting fear. I was shaken, almost speechless.

"I'm not gonna fire you, Seb." I promised in a soft tone.

"T-Thank you!" he gasped, trying to hug me. I was stunned by the reaction, but I carefully guided his arms around me.

"Sh, don't worry 'bout it tiger." I whispered, hugging him back. "I'll take care of ya, as I always have."

Seb choked on his sobs, clinging to me. He then pulled away, his slightly rough hands gently touching my face. I let him run his fingers over my facial features, blushing now.

He brushed past my lips, making my blush deepen a bit. I felt like I couldn't breath as he pulled his hands away, smiling a little.

"You're still beautiful." he whispered. I smiled a little, shaking my head. I hugged him again, shyly now.

"Don't worry, Moran. I'll take care of ya." I promised again. Seb smiled a little, nodding.

"Okay, boss."

"Not boss anymore, basher. Just Jim will do."
