"Romeo and Juliet? Seriously?" Jim muttered when he walked into English class. He loved the play but...seriously? Of all things they could do for a school play, they choose this?

Whatever. It wasn't like Jim would get a huge role. Hell, he might try out as Romeo or Juliet for jokes!

***

"Oh my god, what the hell?" Jim gasped when he saw that he actually got the role of Juliet.

And guess who Romeo was?

Sebastain freaking Moran, the boy Jim's had a crush on since forever.

Of course Seb would be Romeo when Jim was Juliet.
Why was life so cruel? The only romance Jim would get with Seb was an act, and they'd both die in the end.

***

Of course Jim freaking Moriarty would be Juliet. It wasn't fair that the only brief romance Seb would ever experience with Jim was an act.

The teachers either wanted their students to suffer or thought the pair would make the play perfect.

Yeah, if forgetting lines due to admiring the other was perfection than the play would be a success.

***

"Why are we doing this play?" Jim groaned as he entered practice.

"If I knew the answer, I'd tell you." Seb muttered, crossing his arms.

Jim jumped in surprise, his heart racing more at the presence of his crush than the scare.

"We're doing the kiss scene today, lovely." Jim muttered, his face heating up.

"O-Oh great," Seb muttered, his heart skipping a beat.

***

-Idr the actual scene where r and j kiss and too lazy to google it-

While chanting in his head that it was an act, Jim gently pressed his lips to Seb's. His heart still flipped about when Seb kissed back.

Seb pulled away first, his hand gently stroking Jim's cheek.

An act an act an act an act-

"F*ck it." Seb muttered, pulling Jim in for another kiss.

NOT AN ACT NOT AN ACT NOT AN ACT-

Jim happily kissed back, wrapping his legs around Seb's waist.

The teachers sat there in shock, silently regretting this.

Romeo and Juliet became Jim's favorite play suddenly.
