"Sebastian." Jim said quietly in the darkness. He got no reply, which indicated that the other was asleep. He carefully slid out of bed, only to be pulled back into bed and have strong arms wrap firmly around him.
"Stay," was the slight broken-voiced response he got.
Jim rolled over to try and look at Sebastian in the darkness. He could see his face in a mix of fear and sadness, an expression he never saw on his boyfriend.
He hugged him back, laying his head on the taller's chest.
"I'll always stay," he promised softly.
Sebastian hugged him tighter and buried his face in Jim's hair, mumbling out a "thank you".
Jim nodded slightly, humming a little, which lulled Sebastian to a peaceful sleep.
