Alex's first X-mas

When Jim and Seb found out Alex never got a proper Christmas, they freaked out.

Jim cancelled all plans he had and focused on making his daughter's first Christmas perfect. He did the decor while Seb bought presents.

Alex loved watching Jim put up the decorations. She would draw the decoration scene when he was done. For a five year old, she drew like an experienced artist.

She stayed up late one night, waiting for Seb to come home. When he did, he was carrying a bunch of bags and boxes. She drew that as well, an idea forming in her head.

Jim and Seb knew Alex loved to draw (their fridge was filled with her art), so they bought a load of art supplies.

When Christmas day rolled around, Alex woke up extra early. She placed a horribly wrapped booklet she made under the tree. In said booklet were the drawings she drew of her parents getting ready for Christmas.

As expected, Alex silently screamed at every gift, smiling brightly in thanks.

Eventually, her gift was the only one left. Seb grabbed it, and saw that it was for them.

He glanced at Jim, who sat next to him so they could both see the gift.

When they saw that the present was drawings that showed different things the two did to make their daughter's first Christmas, both men had a smile that no one could erase.

Jim's "death"

When Jim "died" Seb was devastated. But because he had Alex, his mourning was cast aside.

Alex, at first, was also devastated. She didn't draw for a week when she suddenly realized that Jim wasn't dead.

How did the young girl know? Well, Jim didn't want his young daughter to think he was dead.

He wrote a note and have it to her. In the note he explained why he had to do this, and that he didn't want to hurt his family.

Alex immediately showed the note to Seb, since she hated catching moments when the mask would drop and the broken man would shine through.

Alex also knew Jim wasn't dead as a gut feeling.

Father's Day

Having two dads on Father's Day, Alex wanted to surprise them both with a single gift. She didn't have time to think of something to draw.

So she turned to making breakfast in bed. Alex didn't know what her parents would want for breakfast, since they rarely ate the meal.

So the young girl put a bunch of snack cakes on a tray, two apples, and a glass of chocolate milk.

She was barely able to carry it, but she was determined.

Her parents had just woken up when she came in with breakfast.

The two were touched that Alex thought of them so early in the morning (since they assumed she just woke up. Alex didn't sleep the night before because she was thinking of a gift idea).
Alex smiled proudly, slipping out of the room.

Teenage Alex (she's 14 in this)

As a teenager, Alex kept to her quiet ways. Her drawing improved a bit, and she could be trusted home alone.

Then one day, a few days after her 14th birthday, Seb offered to take her on one of his jobs.

So she tagged along and watched her father do his job. She didn't think much of it, since she'd occasionally hear Jim's plans or hear Seb ranting about the mission he got home from.

When Seb asked her if she thought her parents were bad people, she shook her head. Since they saved her all those years ago, her parents could do no evil in her eyes.

Jim also took Alex to observe a business meeting he had. She quietly sat next to him, listening to what everyone said and writing down the statements she didn't trust.

Jim noticed that she also didn't trust some of the statements said, and felt proud. She was a quick learner, a valuable skill for people in the Moran-Moriarty's life style.

After a few weeks of Alex occasionally observing their work, the two asked her if she would like to help them with work. Alex immediately said yes, perking up.

To be honest, Jim and Seb wanted to keep her out of their dangerous lives. But when she gladly accepted, they didn't stop her. Their daughter made her choice, and they weren't going to stop her.

Alex's first date

Alex did start going to school in her teenage years, and one day came home with news of having a date.

To say her parents over reacted would be an understatement.

They were extremely happy for her, both offering to take her out shopping for nice clothes for the date. Alex declined, saying the date was casual.

When they met the girl Alex was going out with, they instantly liked her.

The girl's name was Lilly, and she was like Alex's voice. Lilly was a cheerful person and truely loved Alex, as Jim deduced.
