(Not really Mormor, just a cute idea I've been brewing up for a while with Alex, my badass cinnamon roll baby~)
"Can't I come?" a stubborn thirteen year old Alex asked her parents as they packed.
"No, sweetie." Jim shook his head. "Too dangerous."
"Yeah, well, danger didn't stop Dad from bringing me on that one mission!" she shot cooly back.
"I had control in that situation. This time, we don't," Seb shook his head. "Sorry, cub."
Alex sighed, "well you aren't going to trust me alone."
"We would trust you alone, but its really just to make sure you don't skip school for the months that we're gone." Jim chuckled, shaking his head. "Anyway, another one of my snipers will be watching over you."
"His name is Jackson," Seb added.
"Yay," Alex rolled her eyes, determined to be sourly stubborn about the whole thing.
Seb just sighed, understanding how she felt. "We should get going."
Jim nodded sadly. Alex let her sour attitude disappear for a moment, feeling guilty. She got up and gave them both a tight hug.
"Love you," she mumbled.
"Love you too, Al." Seb smiled slightly. "Jackson'll be here around six."
Alex nodded, and was about to say "be careful" when Jim quickly reassured her that they would be.
The two left, and Alex sighed. She hated seeing them go; it reminded her of her other parents.
The ones that could be dead or alive.

Jackson hesitated at the door. A teenager. He was ordered to take care of a teenager.
Jobs like this made him question his career choice.
Alex suddenly opened the door, giving the sniper a cold glare.
Yup. She was definitely Moran and Moriarty's daughter.
"Hi?" Jackson greeted, somewhat afraid of her.
"Hi." she sighed, the attitude melting again. She stepped aside, letting Jackson in. "Can you cook?"
"Er, yeah." Jackson nodded. "Moran made sure I knew how to before assigning me to the job."
"Ah," Alex nodded. Jackson smiled slightly, and she kindly smiled back.

Weeks later, and Jackson went from being "Jackson" to "Uncle Jackson". He treated Alex as if she was his own daughter, and also with respect...since she WAS his employer's daughter.
Alex loved Jackson as if he was family. He was easy to talk to, and got her into horror movies.
At first, he rejected being called uncle, but soon grew to like being called uncle.
When Jim and Seb got back, both noticed that Alex saw Jackson as family.
As a result, Jackson got less dangerous jobs and visited often.
Both were thankful to this.
