Finn's POV

"Excuse me?" Caleb asked.

"He was my counselor at school," I replied. "He used to call me into his office and try to get me to talk because all the death surrounding me was isolating me."

"So your first instinct was to kill him?" Gaten quipped.

"No. I killed him because he told my parents that they should hospitalize me because I was mentally unstable."

"So you're saying killed him for almost doing exactly what your brother did?" He answered.

"Christ, I didn't plan to kill any of them. It just happened." I scoffed. "And I don't plan on killing her either." Caleb and Gaten let out a few chokes of laughter. "What?"

"Look, man, we love you. It's just keeping a cool head isn't exactly your strongest suit." Caleb replied. "So it probably bests that you just stay away from the situation."

"What are you talking about?" I scoffed. "I'm just gonna sit by while she steals my girlfriend?"

"Correction," Gaten interjected, holding his finger up, matter-of-factly. "Your plaything." He glared.

"I love her, you jackass."

"Yeah, but your track record says otherwise." Gaten scoffed. "You treat her like shit for weeks until she almost dies and then you almost fuck Iris. But you announce your everlasting love for her in front of everyone and then you almost fuck Iris, AGAIN. So what the fuck is the goal here?"

"What do you want me to say? I know that I fucked up. I know that I keep fucking up. I'm trying to fix this, please, Gaten... I just— I just wanna fix it."

"Goddamn it," Gaten muttered, rolling his eyes.

"What?"

"I'm gonna do something probably really stupid... I'm gonna help you." He replied.

Your POV

"What's wrong?" Emaline asked.

"Nothing, I've just— I've never..."

"You've never had sex?" She questioned.

"No, well... Yes?" I stumbled, "I've never had sex with a girl." She brushed a few strands of hair behind my ear.

"You're so pretty." Emaline whispered, "... He doesn't deserve you."

"I'm sorry?" I questioned.

Finn's POV

~ Flashback ~

"What did you do?!" I yelled. She sat by the bath, still covered in tears. I walked over and crouched down. "What did you do?"

"You're sick, Finn— You need to go somewhere. You need to get help." She sobbed.

"Grace, get up," I whispered. She shook her head. "Get the fuck up." She let out a few sobs before she finally took my hand.

I pulled her through the hallways until we reached the living room. I immediately let go before she fell backward onto her couch. I looked back at her, a few tears falling down my face too.

"When the police get here, I'm gonna tell them that the intruder jumped out the window when I came home. You're just gonna say that I let you out of the bathroom and helped you calm down. Understand?" I whispered, wiping away from tears. She nodded before continuing to cry.
