Worst Case Scenario

Finn's POV

I walked back to the room, my throat was swollen shut. I couldn't think or speak properly. I swung the door open.

"Hey." She smiled. How could she smile? The world around us was crumbling. She stood up from the bed. "Babe, what's wrong?" She asked, taking my face in her hands.

"Who's is it?"

"... What?" She said, her eyes shifting. "Finn, what are you talking about?"

"Don't fucking lie to me! Why the fuck else would you need prenatal vitamins?" I spat, throwing her bag of necessities onto the floor.

"Finn..."

"Who's is it, Y/n?" She looked at me in disbelief. "Come on, Y/n. We both know you're knocked up, so just tell me who did it!" I spat. Her hands fell back to her sides.

~ Flashback ~

"You're wrong." I scoffed. "She would've told me."

"Finn, you don't really believe that Sadie needs all those things, do you?"

"Why would she get them for Y/n, Winona? Sadie and Y/n aren't even friends." I said, staring back at her.

~ End Of Flashback ~

"Are you kidding me?" She said, blankly.

"... Winona told me all about your little checkup, Y/n. There's really no reason to lie about it."

"Jesus Christ, Finn." Y/n scoffed, turning away. I took hold of her wrist. She looked me dead in eye before yanking her hand away.

"Who fucked you? Gaten? Jack? I mean, Jesus Christ, Y/n. God knows you'll look to anybody for comfort."

"You're an idiot." She spat, "If you really believe that anyone else in the place is the father to my baby, other than you... Then why in the fuck are you still here?"

I stood silent, looking at her— Just taking in every visible form of emotion I could. Her eyes were burning holes in my soul. I almost expected her to have tears dripping down the sides of her face, but nothing came.

"Do you wanna know what you're problem is, Wolfhard?!" She looked at me intensely. "You don't trust me and you don't respect me! So it's easier for you to believe that I'M the fuckup, rather than you."

"That's not true—"

"And honestly, I couldn't give less of a shit if you believe me or not, because YOU did this to me. No one else, just you."

Your POV

Finn chewed on his bottom lip, while his dark eyes stared back at mine own.

"They're never gonna let you keep that thing and as soon as it rips it way through you, they're gonna send it away..." Finn muttered, "... And when you realize that, I'll be here waiting."

I pushed him away and his back slammed against the wall, while a faint tear dripped down my cheek.

"Did you tell them?!" I yelled. Finn just shrugged as he rested his head against the wall and pulled a cigarette from behind his ear.

"Guess we'll find out." He whispered, blowing smoke at my face. I ripped the cigarette from his mouth and threw it to the ground, stomping it out.

"... Are you really so afraid of being a father that'd you would get our baby sent away?" I sobbed. "Don't you want a family with me?"

A knock at the door pulled our attention away from our fight. Gaten gently peaked his head inside.

"Hey, you guys okay?" He asked. I quickly wiped away my tears.

Finn's POV

"Yeah. Yeah, we're fine."  Y/n stuttered, wiping her face. "Wanna go for a walk?" She asked.

"Yeah, sounds like a plan." Gaten replied. Y/n picked up the bag I'd thrown and then stared back at me.

"Let me know when you stop being such a selfish prick, maybe then we'll be able to actually talk." Y/n hissed.

I dropped to the floor as she slammed the cell door shut. My throat felt dry and my heart hurt all the way down my stomach. I screamed, slamming my fists against the linoleum.

Your POV

"Hey, Y/n, are you okay?" Gaten asked. His voice broke my gaze from the floor as we walked. I stared back at him for a second before nodding. "Are you sure? You seem... Angry."

"I'm not, I'm just— I'm disappointed." I stuttered.

"Why?" Gaten asked, giving me a puzzled look

"Because I set myself up for disappointment again."

"Goddamn it, Y/n. What'd he do?!" I shook my head, wiping away a few stray tears.

"N-Nothing," I whimpered. My voice cracked as I attempted to prevent more tears from falling.

"Y/n, he obviously did something. Tell me..." I stared at Gaten for a moment. Part of me wanted to breakdown and tell him everything. Maybe he'd be able to help.

"Y/n L/n to medical immediately."

School just started up and I have to keep a lot of focus on that so I tried to write in my free time, but it turns out that you don't have much of that as a junior in high school, lol.
