Elijah didn't answer, I mean I really didn't expect him to but it's been a few weeks since we spoke and I just wanted to make sure he hadn't forgotten about me; yeah I still had feelings for Elijah but before everything I put his happiness first and if Duron made him happy then I would accept it.... though Elijah was still my FRIEND. Besides I had other things to worry about and the main two things were the two dudes I was currently entertaining, though I was single I could tell that feelings were starting to get involved on their parts and I wasn't the type of person to lead someone on if I wasn't feeling them. To be honest it was only supposed to be about sex, nothing more nothing less but the DD Curse was strong as fuck in my family so I knew I had to start to cut them off slowly; don't be mistaken they were both good dudes Josiah was young and he had been through a lot but I could tell his heart belonged to someone else and he was trying to force himself to get over that person. Then there was Dwayne who was kinda hard to explain he was a good dude but he was a little possessive.
"Focus Luka....." My older brother Meeko barked and I was ready to beat his ass because I was getting sick of him talking to me like a child but then again he was helping me so and this dresser was heavy as fuck. "I swear Luka if we drop this I'm done... I don't know why you just didn't pay someone to move this shyt up these damn stairs." Meeko complained.
"Well maybe if you stopped bitchin and started moving we could get done." I said and he gave me that look that told me 'nigga I'll drop this right now'. "I'm just playing Meeko chill...." I said quietly because we were too close to getting finish for us to stop now.
"How about y'all both stop bitchin because I'm struggling back here...." My boy Bryce said from behind me, him and Li'Angelo were carrying the dining room table. They had a point so after about twenty minutes we finally got everything into my apartment and I was glad to be finished. "I'm just throwing this out there right now, whenever you decide to move don't call me to help move not a damn thing... you better stop being cheap and hire some damn movers like Meeko." Bryce said.
"Whatever Bryce... now I appreciate the help but y'all need to kick rocks." I said showing them to the door and as they walked out I caught my oldest brother Li'Angelo's eyes; we still weren't in a good place, I mean it was better than it was, we weren't trying to kill each other but I couldn't talk to him the way I could talk to Meeko.
After they left I checked my phone to see what was on the agenda tonight; Black, Mookie, and Niño all wanted to go out and I was down but I had some things I needed to handle first. Right on schedule, a knock came at my door and as I opened it, Josiah walked in looking sexy as always. I couldn't stunt, maybe in a different time or place me and Josiah could've had something but I knew in my heart that the most we could ever be is friends.
"Wassup......" I said giving him a tight hug and grippin his ass. "I'm glad you could make it, I was starting to think that you would stand me up again in favor of chillin with your other friend." I said smirking as we walked into the living room.
"I mean the option was out there but I wanted to be around positive energy, he was trippin... my bad I know your rules; you don't talk about the people you're fuckin and I don't talk about the people I'm fuckin." Josiah said.
"True but I brought it up..... but you're right let's switch gears and talk about something else. So what do you wanna do in our time together? I'm down for anything." I said laying back against my soft couch.
"I'm just trying to chill and smoke....." Josiah said nodding and that's pretty much what we did, smoked, watched a movie and made small talk, see with Josiah it was pretty chill it wasn't always about sex. "Luka can I ask you a personal question?" Josiah said and I nodded because I was almost too high to talk. "Why are you single?" He asked and I shrugged.
