I was going to recap my trip to Memphis but there was really nothing to report, we were still in the negotiation phase but other than that there wasn't much to tell... I think the real story started when I got back home, and of course, it started with one of Duron's ex-fuck buddies popping up at my damn house. Okay before y'all trip it wasn't Duron's fault... actually if we're being completely honest the person who held all the blame for bring this nigga to my house was Serenity, now I know Calvin is my cousin and everything but that doesn't mean I want to talk to that nigga. Me and Duron were just getting to a place of calm and the last thing I want to do is spend any amount of time having to look at someone who fucked my dude, especially someone who is supposed to be 'family'. But as it turns out the ONLY reason Serenity was dealing with him is because Calvin was a wedding planner and he was giving her the 'homie discount' on her wedding since her and Roy decided to be cheap, in their defends though they did have a baby on the way so, I'll give them a pass on the cheapness of their wedding.
"Okay first thing I think we should do is go over the guest list..."Calvin said and I could just feel the slick ass comment coming. "Elijah, I know you're in the wedding as a groomsman but will you be bringing a date?" Calvin asked and I nodded. "And who might that be because you know I want to have people seated according to how they look, cute people in the front and ugly people in the back so who is this mystery man and what are his stats." Calvin asked looking into his notepad before I could answer there was a knock on the door and I was thankful because I was so close to beating his ass.
"Luka...." I said answering the door and even though I was happy with Duron I had forgotten how sexy Luka was and it really didn't help that he was wearing a nothing but some basketball shorts and a beater.
"Sorry for just popping up like this but I was around the corner playing basketball and I gotta piss and you know how I feel about public restrooms... I can't do it so I figured that maybe....." Luka said quietly.
"Why are you so damn nervous, you already know where the bathroom is and I think I left your potty under the bathroom sink.... unless you got potty trained while I was away." I said as he rolled his eyes.
"Elijah you're still not funny...." He said running up the stairs and when I turned around Calvin was standing under the archway looking towards the stairs with lust in his eyes. I won't say that I was jealous because I wasn't but at the same time I didn't want Calvin anywhere near Luka.
"Is that your new friend because if so he's definitely sitting in the cute section." Calvin said and I rolled my eyes and started to walk past him but then someone else started knocking on the door and when I went to open it someone's lips invaded mine and I was lifted into the air and pressed up against the wall.
"Why have you been ignoring my calls?" Duron whispered as his lips grazed across my neck. "Look I don't have much time, DJ and De'Vaughn are at my parent's house and I'm supposed to pick them up in the next five minutes so we gotta make this quick." He said fumbling around with belt and right when he was about to pull my shorts down someone started clearing their throat.
"Heeeyyy, Duron... I didn't know you and Elijah were back together." Calvin said eyeing Duron and there was that damn hint of lust in his eyes, I started to get up but Duron pushed me back up against the wall, holding me in place.
"Calvin, we don't have shyt to say to each other unless you plan on telling me where Unique is because last time I checked she had a whole child that needs his mother." Duron said irritated.
"You know my bitch Unique, she goes wherever the wind takes her and after all the bullshyt your deranged ass twin put her through I think she deserves a break, plus I haven't spoken to her since we left Miami so your guess is as good as mine." Calvin said and I could feel Duron's anger through his skin and I knew he was getting close to choking Calvin out, and as entertaining as that would've been I didn't want to do anything to fuck up Serenity's wedding even if we were just in the planning phase.
"Ayy thanks for letting me use the restroom." Luka said walking downstairs and drying his hands off on a paper towel. "Sup Doonie." Luka said and I could see the confusion written all over Calvin's face.
"Sup..." Duron said nodding as Luka walked out the house. "Look I gotta go but I'll probably be back through once I get the kids settle... unless you wanna come over?" Duron said hopefully and I could see he was also waiting for an excuse. Okay, so I've been avoiding Duron's house since I got back from Memphis because whenever I went over there I ended up dick-matized and I wasn't trying to fall back into old habit, but then again...
"Yeah, I'll come over I just gotta finish up here and then I'll be on my way." I said letting him kiss all over my face before he finally let me down. "I'll call you when I'm on my way, I love you." I said kissing him again.
"I love you too." He said shooting Calvin one last evil look before walking out the door. Once Duron had pulled off I walked back into my living room where Serenity was so lost in wedding plans that she had missed the last ten minutes.
"Let me get this straight... you and Duron broke you, you started messing with that sexy ass man-child, then you and Duron got back together, while you and man-child are still coo, yet Duron and man-child are coo and there's no awkwardness between any of y'all?" Calvin asked. "You need to teach me your ways Elijah, better yet you need to show me where you be finding these sexy ass niggas at because I'm tired of fucking Uncle Ruckus looking ass niggas."
"Serenity I'm getting a headache do you wanna finish this tomorrow? At your place?" I asked hoping she caught the hint.
"What? Yeah sure.... let's go, Calvin, before Elijah kills you." Serenity said getting up and gathering all her things. "Oh before I leave call Terico sometime during the day because there's something off about him and you know he won't tell me shyt but I know he'll tell you." Serenity said hugging me and walking off with Calvin. I think I did pretty good, I didn't say anything to Calvin and I didn't beat his ass so that was progress in my book.
A few hours later, I stood under the shower letting the water calm my nerves which were all over the place, I don't know why I was so nervous to see Duron, I mean everything is good between us yet whenever I knew I was about to see Duron I got butterflies in my stomach and everything. But I'll take things as they came, after my shower, I got dressed and made my way out to my car only to find my car blocked in the driveway. As soon as I saw the Rolls Royce blocking my car I rolled my eyes, I should've known his ass would pop up sooner or later.
"I was just about to come knock...." Big Dawg's cousin/ personal bitch boy Q said as I walked over to the car. "Don't worry he'll be quick since it seems like you're getting ready to go somewhere." He said opening the back door and I slid into the seat next to Big Dawg and tried not to roll my eyes. "Sorry for the intrusion, but I feel like we weren't making any progress since our last conversation." Big Dawg said.
"Look it's extremely difficult to take you seriously while....." I said pointing to the dude who was sucking his dick.
"Oh don't mind him, he knows better than to repeat anything he ever hears me say.... now about our conversation, I'm here to formally invite you to dinner so we can discuss it a little more in detail." Big Dawg said.
"Why can't we just discuss it now? Better yet how about I respectful decline and go about my business instead of getting pulled into whatever game you're playing?" I asked looking at him and I'm not going to lie the dude on his dick was going to work and it was almost too distracting to pay attention to anything he was saying.
"Elijah maybe this wasn't the right setting so we'll have to reconvene this meeting another time... I just wanted to talk to you and let you know that I'm really interested in working with you and hope you will listen to what I have to say.... it's all strictly business between us if that's what you're worried about." Big Dawg said tapping the window and Q opened the door. "I'll call you tomorrow so we can set up a time and place for our next meeting." Big Dawg said basically dismissing me. When I got out the car my thoughts began running a million miles a minute and I couldn't help but wonder how the fuck did I get dragged into this bullshyt........
