Big Dawg's little mission was going to have to wait because the day I was supposed to go to the barbershop Unique decided to bring her ass back and still hasn't been to see her son so I went straight to my lawyer and had some papers drawn up. To my surprise, she was more than happy to sign over her rights and I thought that it would be easy to get Diante to do the same.... however my parents decided to show their petty side and request custody of De'Vaughn. It was about to get ugly between me and my parents and if that wasn't stressful enough, I was helping De'Veon through his relationship issues since he was going through something I knew all too well about. Today I wanted to forget about all that though, I wanted to spend some time with my boys and just have fun, even though De'Vaughn was still an infant I didn't want to leave him out. It just sucked that Elijah couldn't be here since he and Serenity had to fly to Pittsburgh to stop Terico from killing their mom.... that was a whole situation in and of itself and I feel like it'd be best if you heard it from Elijah. Thankfully I had my boy Mateo with me so I wasn't too overwhelmed with these DJ and De'Vaughn, DJ.... well he was really starting to feel himself and I needed someone who could guide me through that conversation.

"DJ, you can't have two girlfriends... it's not right and it's going to get you into a lot of trouble when you get older. In fact, you really shouldn't have any girlfriends right now, you need to be focused on naptimes and juice boxes." I said and I glanced at Mateo who was trying not to laugh, leave it to him to find some humor in that statement.

"It all starts with the juice box.... then when you get older you'll be in love with a different kind of juice box." Mateo said slyly and I was so glad DJ had no idea what the fuck Mateo was talking about but I still kicked Mateo under the table because I wanted DJ to be better than me and right now I was doing a horrible job.

"Uncle Diante said it's okay to have a bunch of girlfriends because you did... he said you had like hundreds and he said that you still have a lot of girlfriends and boyfriends but that I shouldn't tell Elijah because he won't like you anymore." DJ said and I felt like my blood was boiling.

"DJ.... when did you talk to your Uncle Diante?" I asked trying to remain calm because he really didn't understand what was going on between me and my brother.

"He was at my school, he gave me some money and he said not to tell you because you'd take my money and by drugs with it and go to jail." DJ said and he didn't realize he was digging his uncle's grave because the next time I saw Diante.....

"Aight go play....." I said taking De'Vaughn's bottle from him and watching as DJ went to go play in the playhouse. "Would I be wrong if I pulled up on Diante after we left here? Like just pull up and start shooting because that shyt is crossing the line." I said in disbelief that Diante would be feeding my son lies.

"That's definitely an ass-whoopin but killing him would be excessive, then you'd have to deal with Big Dawg since Diante's his new favorite plaything." Mateo said laughing and I raised an eyebrow because I definitely didn't tell him about that. "Oh it's public knowledge, everyone knows... most niggas are just afraid to say anything because he's still Diante Richmond." Mateo said and I guess I hadn't been paying attention to everything that's been going on because of other shyt I had going on. "Are you going to tell Elijah?"

"Yeah, I have to because if I don't it's going to come across like I'm hiding shyt and I'm trying to stop all that shyt so yeah..... but I'm kinda in a no-win situation because I kinda need Diante to sign these papers which means I can't whoop his ass until the ink dries." I said looking down at De'Vaughn, he was such a good baby and I just prayed that he was nothing like his sperm donor.

"Then you got your parents to deal with, you know they got long money and some hungry ass lawyers. I remember when your moms damn near bankrupted that landscaping company all because they didn't trim the hedges like she wanted...." Mateo said.
