It was difficult to keep my composure like the smallest thing was capable of setting me off. I had a list of suspects; Antrell because his threat to Duron definitely didn't go unnoticed, Genesis's sister Genevieve because no matter how good my brother Emmanuel was fuckin her, she was going to want revenge for Genesis's death, Cash... less likely than the other two but still a possibility. But the name at the top of my list was Diante, the biggest fuck nigga in the world and he's didn't hide the fact that he didn't like me and wanted to make my life as miserable as possible, add that in with the fact that they had just lost their dad... well there was no telling what he was capable of. I wasn't buying Big Dawg's explanation that Diante was with him, even if it wasn't Diante... I couldn't shake the feeling that even if it wasn't him directly, he was still involved. We wouldn't find out who it was until we got the security footage back and there was no telling how long that would take... I looked around noticed that damn near everyone on my dad's side was pulling up and if I was being honest I really didn't want to be around all these damn people, there were only a select few that I wanted to see and more than half of them weren't on that list.

"Duron, I'm ready to get out of here... seeing this is giving me a headache." I said to Duron quietly, he nodded and walked over to a couple of the police officers and after a short conversation, he returned but I could tell he was pissed. "What did they say?" I asked.

"Basically they have a few more things they need to handle and it shouldn't be long... an hour at the most." Duron said. "Look if you wanna leave, go ahead... I'll just meet up with you a little later, I'll just get a ride from De'Veon or somebody...." Duron said and I could see he was tired, hell we both were... I don't remember the last time I sat down and took a second to catch my breath.

"You mind taking me to my place?" I asked Jaire who was talking with my dad and Emmanuel, Jaire nodded and as I started heading towards his car, Big Dawg walked over to me. "Look I'm really not in the mood right so can this please wait until I've gotten at least 8 hours of sleep?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"I get that and I respect it... you have to believe me, Diante was with me all night. He didn't do this...." Big Dawg said and instead of responding I got in the passenger seat of Jaire's car and turned the heat on and a couple minutes later he finally joined me.

"Elijah.... I've known you my entire life, so I know for a fact going home isn't what you wanna do...." Jaire said and it was like my body was waiting for someone to say it... it happened so suddenly that I lost control of my thoughts for a second and my body acted on it's own. It took nothing to find Antrell's IG and he responded a lot quicker than I anticipated, though I recovered and after exchanging a few messages he gave me his location.

"Wait here... I shouldn't be in there too long." I said and Jaire gave me a look that told me he objected my decision, but my mind was made up. "Wait here..." I repeated and Jaire looked like he was ready to argue but eventually relented.

"I didn't think you were coming... Damn you look good as fuck!" Antrell said and I knew he was just talking but I decided to humor him. "I heard about what happened... that's fucked up." He said trying to sound sad but his face betrayed him and I noticed the smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth.

"That's actually why I'm here... I just find it funny that mere hours after you threatened Duron someone throws MULTIPLE Molotov cocktails into our house." I said looking directly at him.

"Well I got an airtight alibi... I was still at the club when it happened, I had a great conversation with Gavin about my music video and if you don't believe me I'm sure Duron has the resources to have the camera footage pulled." Antrell said and strangely enough I believed him.

"So what was all that 'Doonie I'm going to be seeing you real soon' shyt you pulled when we were leaving?" I asked, now that Antrell had moved from the top of my list I wasn't sure where to look next, I was running out of suspects.
