LUKE'S POV
I wake up to her still on her chest.
She's still sleeping surprisingly.
Well surprised and not surprised.
She's usually up early but I didn't expect her to be after her panic attack last night.
"Good morning, babe." I whisper to her as I kiss the top of her head.
I walk out into the kitchen mentally preparing myself to face Mikey.
I feel pretty confident even though I have no idea what I'm going to say to him.
"Hey." I started as I saw him sitting at the breakfast bar.
"Hey. We need to talk." He said.
"I was just about to suggest that." I said as I sat next to him.
"So yesterday. What was that all about?" He asked.
"I'm pretty sure Ryder has anxiety. She gets panic attacks when people yell and raise their voice. But they get worse if it's at her or about her. We were all basically yelling about her causing her to run away." I explained.
"Where'd she go to?" He asked.
"A little forest about twenty minutes away from here." I said.
"Jesus. But what you did to Griffin wasn't cool either." He said.
"What I did to Griffin? What about what Griffin did to Ryder? I was trying to defend myself and my girlfriend. Not to forget you'd rather hang out with her and Margarita and not see if Ryder was okay." I said to him.
"She didn't need me! She had you and Chris!" He said.
"Yeah but you still should've been like on be half of my girlfriend and I, I apologize." I said.
He took a deep breath.
"I don't want to lose our friendship over girls. It's stupid. I will admit Griffin was wrong for grilling Ryder and you. So let's just forget about yesterday. Friends?" He asked.
I let out a sigh knowing he's right and Griffin will never apologize to Ryder.
"Friends." I said.
