RYDER'S POV
I wake up to Luke's arms wrapped around me.

I smile knowing that I've missed this.

I get out of his grasp to use the bathroom.

As I look into the mirror while washing my hands, I see the purple mark on my neck.

It's not huge, but it's definitely big enough for my parents to notice.

I start to panic knowing that I left my makeup at home.

I didn't think I was going to be spending the night.

I race back out to his room and grab my phone off his spare charger.

Mom: You better be back home by 12:30

I check the time.

11:30

I have an hour to be get this hickey covered and get home.

I hate waking him but I kind of have to in this case.

I go over to him and put my lips on his.

I feel him start to slowly wake up.

"Good morning, babe." He yawned.

"Yeah hi. Listen, I have to go to Ashley's house so she can cover this." I said pointing to my neck.

"Oh. I did that." He said.

"Yeah you did. I have to get home in an hour. But I promise I'll be back later." I said kissing him.

I take a mirror picture and send it to Ashley.

I drive from Luke's hotel to Ashley's house.

Ten minutes later, I'm sitting in her room and she's covering my neck.

"Good. Now get out of here before you get your ass beat." She said.

I practically raced home.

I made it back with fifteen minutes to spare.

I walk in and see my parents and Ethan all sitting in the dining room.

"You're just in time for the news." Ethan said with a devilish grin.

"What news?" I asked.

"Ryder, we came to a decision last night. We're kicking you out." My mom said.
