RYDER'S POV
"Ryder! Come down here and help Ethan with his summer homework!" My mom yelled up the stairs.
Can't a girl just try and sleep off her jet lag for once?
I grab my phone to check the time.
"Ryder! Now!" She screamed.
"Coming! Jesus Christ." I yelled back downstairs mumbling the last part.
"What do you need?" I asked.
He chucked a book at me.
"Pride and Prejudice?" I asked.
"Yeah. Now get reading." He said walking away.
"Not so fast, brat." I said grabbing his shirt collar.
"Last time I checked I wasn't the one going into English III. So you get reading." I said shoving the book onto his chest.
"Why can't you just help me for once?!" He asked.
"I'll help you tell you what words mean and jot down notes, but I'm not reading the whole book for you!" I said.
"You're the worst sister ever!" He yelled.
"Try getting into college with that attitude! You wouldn't last a day!" I said pretending like I knew what I was talking about.
"I'll get mom!" He threatened.
"See if I care! You always go running to her anyway! See if she'll do your homework for you!" I said running back to my room.
I grabbed my keys, phone, and extra money.
I texted Ashley.
Ryder 😈💖: I'm coming over
"Ryder!" I heard my mon yell.
I ran out the back door and jumped into my car.
I pulled out of my spot and down the block.
Ashley 🙃💛: Yeah that's fine. My parents aren't home anyway
Ashley 🙃💛: But let me guess, Ethan?
I parked my car outside her house as I texted her back.
Ryder 😈💖: Exactly
I got out of my car and found her spare key.
I walked in her house.
"Hey bitch." I said.
