I hit the green Facetime app and clicked on Ryder's name.
She's always the first name to pop up.
Forever Person 💘 would like to Facetime...
"Baby." I whined.
"Hi babe." She said.
"Where's this best friend?" I asked.
"Right here." She said pulling a girl into frame.
"Luke, meet the loyalist hoe in all of Columbus." She said.
"Hey." She said.
"Hi." I said.
"Ryder talks about you like all the time. I guess this is her getting back at me for talking about my boyfriend when she was single. But if you break her heart, I'll beat your ass." She threatened.
"Like I said to Ryder, heart break isn't in my vocabulary." I said pretending like I wasn't scared.
"He's smooth. Keep him." She said.
"He's definitely a keeper." Ryder smiled.
"And you're obviously a keeper." I said.
"I'd like to think y'all want to keep each other since you're moving in together." Ashley said.
"Way to ruin a moment, Ash." She said.
"What? Just saying." Ashley said.
"Are you going to miss having Ryder around when she moves?" I asked trying to make conversation.
"She's a pain in the ass but she's my pain in the ass. Hell yeah I'm going to miss her. But she deserves this. After what her parents and Ethan put her through. I plan to visit every here and there." Ashley explained.
"Love you too, bitch." Ryder smiled.
"I can't wait to have you out here with me, babe." I said.
"I can't either. I'm so excited for this fresh start you have no idea." She said.
"Oh god. My parents are calling. I got to go, baby." She groaned.
"Just think you'll be out here soon! I love you." I said.
"I love you too." She said as our call ended.
Let's just hope she makes it out of Ohio alive.
