Chapter 11

NEELAM's POV

Waking up always made me feel great but today was special because it was Sukhi's first day at work and I was feeling like a "mom" to her who had to wake her child up for her first day at school.

Anyway, to my surprise she was already up and she was having breakfast "Neelam, good morning!!!" Sukhi greeted while eating her cereal and I was so disappointed.
"What is this?! I wanted to wake you up and make breakfast for you like a mom does for her child and send you for work" she looked me from toe to head and said "Hey, are you sick or what Breakfast? Send me to work?Please, I don't need another mother in London, behave, go and brush your teeth!" She said and I laughed embarrassed before going in the bathroom.

Suddenly the bell ringed "Sukhi, I am not going to open the door looking like a prisoner who escaped from jail!" I yelled and she chuckled "Neelam, you don't have any other choice. Go and open the stupid door!" She yelled me back and I sighed.

"What the hell, what it's your problem? What on the Earth has happened suddenly?" I asked as I was opening the door.

That's how I wanted to take my world back. I was surprised and shocked at the same when I saw Aryan and Ahaan.

'Great Neelam, award for this embarrassing moment' I scolded myself mentally.

"Wow so that's how you welcome your guests. I am very impressed!" Ahaan said while clapping and I rolled my eyes "Ahaan please" Aryan said "Ok ok sorry, bro. Neelam did you notice his possessiveness when it comes to you?" Ahaan asked while smirking and I tried to hide my blush.

"No guys, I am sorry I didn't know that yo-" I was going to run inside but Aryan stopped me "Don't worry, you are looking cute and I like your hairstyle it's strange but not that bad" he said while rubbing his neck "Morning guys" a voice interrupted the awkwardness and there was Sukhi, dressed like a normal human being and I was still in my night suit.

"Hey Angel, how are you?" Ahaan asked her and she ignored him "Why are you here?" Sukhi asked him "Actually, the reason why we are here it's because we wanted to invite you both for Aryan's cousin sister's wedding" he informed said while looking at Sukhi "ohhh but w-" as I was trying to say something she interrupted me "Sorry Neelam, I am running late. Bye, see you later guys" she said quickly before going.

"Sukhi wait!" Ahaan called her "I am coming with you" he said and they both went.

Now I was sitting in the living room looking like a stupid "Do you want something to drink Aryan?" I awkwardly asked him "No,no. We just had breakfast" Aryan answered "Oh right, I am the only one who wakes up late" I mumbled "Oh right, you just said that you came to invite us t-" he interrupted me nervously "Yeah, I was thinking it will be nice if you could come maybe you can meet my friends" He said "Yeah, that's fine but don't you think it's a family event? We don't really want to ruin your family moment" I said but suddenly he took my hand and I looked at him "Don't think too much, I will not make you uncomfortable. I promise you" Aryan said while caressing my hand "Ok, if you insist. We will be there, happy?" I asked him with a smile "Yes, I can't wait" he said trying to be excited "Yeah, but I need an Indian dress" I said "So what? Let's go now!" he said while standing up.

"Ok, but let me at least change first. I can't go out looking like this, people will think I am beggar or something" I said while laughing "If it was for me, you can go out like this" Aryan said while smirking "Yeah sure" I said with sarcasm and he laughed "Wait here, I will be ready soon" I stated and quickly went to my room.

SUKHI's POV
We exit the house "Why do you want to go with me?" I asked him while walking to the underground.

"Well, you know I heard that near the station there are many kidnappers so I thought that is safe if a man walk with this idiot to the underground" he said and I chuckled "Dude, I can take care of myself" I said while laughing and he rubbed his neck "I know but still" he said looking to the other side "Tell me the truth, Mr Ahaan" I asked him and he chuckled "Well, I rather go with you than being a third wheel" he said making me laugh "Right" I said.

As we were waiting for the train, I saw a girl who was trying to flirt with Ahaan by coming closer to him and "accidentally" touching him. I didn't know why it annoyed me, I didn't have a reason to be like this but still I put my earphones so that I could concentrate on the music. Ahaan didn't seem to give attention to that girl so he took one of my earphones and I looked at him shocked "W-what are you doing?" I asked him "You know that If I am with you I will not flirt with girls because I know that it makes you uncomfortable" he said while playing with my hair and a smile escaped "But can I flirt with boys, right?" he asked smirking and I punched him mischievously.

"So are you coming to the wedding event, angel?"Ahaan asked me while sitting next to me in the train "I really don't know, it depends on Neelam, if I had a choice I will never come because I don't like to see your face, jerk" I said joking and he glared me which made me laugh.

"There are only girls?" He asked me suddenly "What?" I questioned him confused "At work?" Ahaan said embarrassed "Oh. I know that you are coming only for girls and my answer to this question is no, there are also boys" I said while sighing 'why he always thinks about girls? I-I mean don't care he can do whatever he want ' I said myself.

"No, that's not the reason, I was just asking because,you know I-I...H-hey look there" he said nervously while pointing a baby who was trying to walk but every time failed, It was cute.

"He's so cute" I said while looking at the baby who came closer to us and Ahaan pick him up "Hey champ, are you trying to walk or run? You know, this girl, even she can't walk properly. Since I met her she always fall. Come on, let's teach this idiot how to walk properly " he told the little boy while laughing while I was glaring at him. Suddenly, the baby came to me and I was so happy to took him in my arms it was the best feeling I ever had, I always loved babies. "What's your name?" I asked him "Jake" he said smiling at me and I was like 'aww' but immediately his mother came to me with a relief "Thanks for taking care of him, I was so worried about him" she said and we smiled, when I turned my head to see Ahaan I caught him staring me but the he quickly turn his head to the woman "Don't worry, miss. He is cute" he said looking at him in my arms "You guys look good together. Are you guys a Couple?" the woman asked "No,no we are not a couple we are just friends" I said while watching the woman and then Ahaan who was playing with Jake.

Finally, we arrived in front of the airport "Ahaan, Thanks for coming with me" I said while giving a smile.

I needed to thank him after all he came here and now he has to go again by train back.

"Oh don't worry and best of luck, Angel. If you need anything call me" he wished me while ruffling my head "Hey don't do it, you are messing my hair" I said while taking his hand away from my hair "You look cute" he said and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I was surprised by his sudden move. I didn't know what was happening in my stomach again but it was a strange feeling  "Hey! Don't you dare to kiss me again" I said while trying to act normal.

"Don't get lost, go home safely or I will cut your legs if you get kidnapped or something. I don't want to take the responsibility, stupid" I said embarrassed while and he laughed turning around "You too, Angel" he shouted and I smiled.
