Chapter 14

ARYAN's POV

I tried to call her but she's wasn't answering my calls.

How I am going to explain it to her now? I should go to her house God, please save me!' I said to myself and went to her house.

"Aryan?" Sukhi said when she opened the main door and I gave her a small smile "Hi Sukhi" I greeted her "Aryan, I think you should talk to her, she's hurt" she said with a worried voice. "Yeah, I know, I am stupid. Sukhi can you tell me Where is she now?" I asked her "In her room" she said as I entered the room she was sleeping.

I came closer to her and I felt bad about what I did before to her, she came so strong to the world but because of me she had to fall asleep while crying.

I cannot explain in words what I was going through.

I was about to go, when she took my hand "Aryan?" She asked in a sleepy voice "Neelam, please listen to me for once!" I begged her while sitting on my knees, "Aryan, It's late you should go" she interrupted me "No, please give me two minutes so I can explain. Listen, my intention was not to hurt you or to ignore you I just wanted to have fun, I know I dragged it too much, I ignored you the whole night, I am very sorry, please look at me. Please. Say something" I said while holding her hand "Ok, I believe you if you say that it was a prank. Fine, but let me tell you, it was the worst prank ever" she started to blubber "Neelam, please stop I won't do it again, never" I said looking at her and I gave her the tightest hug ever.

"I promise it will never happen again" I said and she immediately looked at me, "Promise?" she asked innocently "Promise" I said and hugged her "okay, now let me go" she said trying to push me away, "No,I will hug you like this forever!" I said not leaving her.

"Listen, I have already forgiven you, so please, don't be cheesy," she never let me express my love for her. "I am going to take a shower because of you and that stupid saree I sweated like a pig!" she said and got up "Ok, come fast. I am waiting" I said.

I was just playing games on my phone when I heard that irritating noise of Neelam's phone notifications sound, I went to put it on silent but my curiosity stopped me and I did something which wasn't a nice thing to do.
I saw some Luca was constantly sending her messages. Yes, I did read their conversation.

Conversation Neelam X Luca

Lu: Are you still mad at me?

Ne: Twinkle, twinkle little star...

Lu: How I wonder what you are?

Ne: Wish you I could hit you with my car...

Lu: Ok you are still mad at me.

Lu: Are you there?

I wondered who was this friend of her. This LUCA. She's never told me about him. They seem to be very close friends, but what a strage conversation.

SUKHI's POV

Since Aryan was with Neelam, I went outside before I would vomit with their cheesy conversations.

I started to walk long the street, It was quite dark but not that much, I went to a nearby park and sat on a swing looking at the sky.

Since I was a child, I had a habit to talk to the moon, when I am sad or happy, since I was speechless today I just smiled.

After 5 minutes my eyes blanked when a flash just blind me 'What the hell was that?' I thought.
I got up "Who is this?" I asked but no one answered me so I didn't bother so much maybe it was my hallucinations.

But suddenly I heard some footsteps come near, I turned and kicked the person without looking at.

"Shit" he yelled and I looked at him "AHAAN?! I am so sorry, are you okay?" I asked him while giving him a hand to get up "How I am supposed to be fine? Ouch...By the way did you learned karate or something?" he asked me and I laughed shaking my head "Idiot, that hurts...I think one day you will broke my back bone" he said and I laughed "Hey!, you deserved it for scaring a girl at midnight" I said "Oh well, I was here to pick Aryan up" he said "Can I ask you something?" I asked him and he nodded "Were you the one who blanked me with the flash?" I asked him and he shook his head and I was confused "Why?" He asked me "Nothing" I answered thinking that it was just in my mind.

"Do you think that Aryan and Neelam are together again?" He asked and I smiled "Well if it was not, Neelam would have already pushed Aryan out of the house with kicks" I said while laughing "You two are really dangerous" he said and nodded as an agreement "Let's go before Neelam calls the cops for me" I said and then we went home.

AHAAN's POV

It was already 2:45 am and I couldn't sleep, I just kept on thinking about Sukhi 'Ahaan, are you drunk or something?' I asked myself.

Suddenly, I remembered that I took a picture of Sukhi that night.
I didn't know why, but she was looking beautiful under the moonlight like she was trying to say something about her to it.

Well, I had to lie to her about that because I couldn't tell her "Hey Sukhi, I was the one who took a picture of you because you were looking beautiful".

I couldn't understand why I was feeling this way? Why I didn't like it when that guy touched her? Did I love her? No, impossibile I am not that type of Romeo, I need to ask Aryan and with that, I went to his room.

'How can he sleep so peaceful when his best friend can't sleep' I asked myself.

I called his name while moving him he started to mumble something "Wake up, Neelam is here" I said and immediately he woke up "Where? Where? Ahaan, what the-" he started to talk but I stopped him "May I ask you something?"I asked him "When did you fall in love with Neelam?" I continued "Ahaan, are you serious?! You woke me up only for this question?! Well do you like someone?" He asked frustrated and I taken aback from his question.

"No, It...it's for my friend, he can't understand what he is feeling, firstly he hated that girl so much, well not hate her but loved to tease her and now he can't stop thinking about her, he hates when someone touches her or maybe looks at her" I told him and he furrowed his eyebrows "What's the name of 'your' friend?! Wait, don't tell me that it's you and the girl is Sukhi?" he asked me and I was about to fall from the bed "No! What the hell! Me?! No" I quickly said "You must be sleepy, well Goodnight" I wished him and left the room scratching the back of my neck.

After a few minutes of thinking whether to tell him or not, I walked in my room till I couldn't and returned to Aryan's room. "Aryan?" I called him softly while sitting on his bed and I saw him whining "What the hell, Ahaan? What's your problem?" He asked frustrated "Is it too obvious that I like her?" I asked sighing and he laughed.
