Chapter 25

NEELAM's POV
After coming back from work I was so tired and exhausted. Aryan decided to accompany his dad who was a chief guest of some charity event. They asked me if I wanted to come with them but I had to say no because I was so sleepy and I was homesick so I needed my bed.

I received Sukhi's message that she was stuck in some office meeting so I decided to rest for a little bit until she come back home.

~after an hour ~

I was feeling relaxed after taking a nap.

Honestly, on the cruise I enjoy but Home is home!

I went to Sukhi's room to check if she was there but she surprisingly she wasn't. Usually, if she is late or something she always called me or messages me.

I decided to call Ahaan maybe they are together.

~ON THE PHONE AHxNE~
Ah: Hello?

Ne: Ahaan? Is sukhi with you? She is not home yet.

Ah: I also tried to call her but she is not picking up, I thought she was ignoring me...Have you tried to call her?

Ne: Yes...but she is not picking up...I am so scared...she just sent me a message I mean half an hour before, telling me that she was stuck in a meeting.

Ah: Don't worry Neelam, we will find her...me and Aryan are coming.

Where was she?

It was getting late, hopefully Ahaan and Aryan were coming so that we could go together at the restaurant/hotel where Sukhi was having her meeting, I hoped she was fine.

~At the restaurant ~

We were about to ask at the reception if they knew the meeting was still going on or not.

"Are you looking for Sukhi?" a familiar tall girl with black hair and beautiful blue eyes asked.

"Guys, I think I know her she is the girl who works with sukhi, Stacy, I think" I said looking at Aryan and Ahaan first and then the girl.

"Yes, that's me I-" she was about to talk but Ahaan didn't let her even complete what she was going to say and asked her in-patiently "Where is she now?" he asked her trying to calm down.

"Oh well, the last time I saw her, she went that way with a girl" she pointed at the end of the corridor, I am not getting a nice vibe out of all this!

I was only hoping that she was fine.

We arrived at the end corridor but she was nowhere to be found, the only thing that we could see was a store room.

We were about to go but we heard someone calling for help, it was coming from the store room.

"Guys, we should check inside" Aryan said.

At first, I was not sure if we should go or not but it was too late to think what to do, Ahaan was already inside "Sukhi!" Ahaan yelled from inside.

What is Sukhi there?

But when I entered I was shocked and perplexed, she was lying lifeless on the floor, me and Ahaan started to ask her to wake up while shaking her.
I was so worried and I could see that Ahaan was even more by looking at his tears rolling down his cheeks, hugging Sukhi like there was no tomorrow and I was crying a mess too while saying "I am here".

"Guys, please calm down, you can ask her later, we need to take her to the hospitals. She is bleeding, I am going to get the car ready and Ahaan take her" Aryan said while looking at us and Ahaan nodded coming back to his sense. I looked at Sukhi and held her hand while Ahaan was taking her in bridal style out of that restaurant as we were runny to Aryan's car.
Ahaan sat in the back seat with Sukhi and I sat next to Aryan, who started the engine and run to the first hospital nearby.

How can Aryan be so calm in situation like this? I thought while I was playing with my fingers nervously and turning around to see if she was awake or not.

~at the hospital ~

Doctors were seeing Sukhi, we were outside just thinking about how she ended up in that room.

I was so worried about her, finally the doctor called us "You can meet her but if she wakes up, don't give her any stress. Right now, we gave her some medicines so she will be sleeping but you can still meet her" we thanked the doctor but when he was about to go suddenly, he turned around and just randomly said "Don't worry, the baby is fine but please take care of her, this was a miracle that the baby is fine" after saying these shocking words he went out.

I looked at ahaan and then Aryan, I was shocked and confused.

"Why would he call Sukhi a BABY?! Such a pervert!" I said in disbelief "Neelam darling, stop judging people, it was not that "baby" I think he was talking about Sukhi's baby-" I interrupted Aryan "What the?! What do you mean Sukhi's baby!! Stop saying rubbish, Aryan" I yelled and then I realised "Wait, Aryan you shut up and let me talk to Ahaan" I told him with an angry tone.

"So Ahaan?" I turned to Ahaan and I could see him looking at me  nervously "What!? Why are you looking at me like this?!" he asked me and I rolled my eyes "Oh my god, I can't believe! Are you serious right now?! Don't tell me you...you.."I said trying to finish the sentence but I was cut off by Ahaan.

"Neelam, you are scaring me right now. What have I done?!" he asked me confused and nervously making me want to kill him even more.

"How the hell she is pregnant?! Would you mind telling me?!" I yelled at him "Neelam please behave! You can't ask him this question, we are in public!" Aryan said while trying to keep me calm "Aryan, I told you before, stay out of it! How the hell you can do this to her, she is just nineteen! Poor her, how cruel can you be? She is so innocent. I am sure you forced her into it! And now I understand the reason why she was that mad at you!" I yelled to him and I could see Ahaan getting angry too.

"Calm down, Why are you behaving like her mother?! And if you are that naive and you are not understanding the situation let me tell you how babies are born! Even though, you should know it" Ahaan said making me more irritated than before.

"Both of you shut up! Can't you see, Sukhi is injured! And for god sake, we are in the hospital. And, Neelam stop it now, come on let's go home, Ahaan will stay with her!" Aryan scolded us, tired of the fight.

"And Neelam? Just for your kind information, she was the one who pushed me to the wall and-" Ahaan started but immediately Aryan stopped him "Ahaan! Please, we don't want to know the details and please behave like an adult! Soon you are going to be a dad" he continued and I looked at him in disbelief.

"What the potato ketchup? Aryan, did you listen to what he just said?! I am not going to let him go that easily !" I warned him "I know, but for now, let's just go home!" Aryan said trying to be nice while grabbing my arm and going outside.

What kind of day was that! I am still figuring it out.

It was better if I would have jumped in the ocean! So I wouldn't have to see this day.

"Neelam, I can hear you, now please can you stop overreacting!" Aryan said probably I was blabbering next to him "Aryan? Seriously? I am going crazy" I said again in disbelief.

I think I need to sleep, and when I would wake up everything is normal, I really hope it's just a nightmare.

"Yeah, I also think that you should go home and sleep now" Aryan said with a soft voice "Aryan, why the hell are you ordering me around?! I am going to sleep because I want to, not because you are saying to me" I yelled to him frustrated "Oh my god, sorry and please can we not fight again? We just got back together!" he said and took me to home.
