It had been three days since I found out that Sukhi was pregnant, I told her that I would protect her but nowadays people don't understand what's the truth or not. I still couldn't believe that she was pregnant, my friend is pregnant?!
I was looking outside the car window when suddenly a hand took mine, I turned to face him and he was giving me a sincere smile, that smile, even a small one, but for me it was everything somehow I could feel the warm and the comfort that I needed that time.
"Neelam, I know that you are stressed out but for today, feel stress free" he said while focusing on the road, "It's hard, but I am trying...it's just-" I said "Shh...I am here" he interrupted me and I could feel his hand tightening.
"Ok, so close your eyes and please no cheating" he said while looking at me, "Aryan, it's been ten minutes that I am walking, first of all I am tired and second, why do I have to close my eyes?" I said looking at him disbelief "Just close" he said and I sighed while putting my hands on my eyes "No cheating ok?"he said "I know, I know" I said boringly.
"Why the hell did you choose a messy place as a present? I hate doing exercise, if you are taking me here only because I am gaining weight, I am truly going to kill you"I said trying to walk properly since this guy was guiding me to somewhere called "surprise", I'm truly regretting for believing to his words.
"Shh, stop complaining, just walk, only for...for five minutes" he said and I sighed "It has been 20 minutes that you keep telling me 'Five minutes', when these five minutes will end?" I said and I heard a chuckle behind "If you stop talking and continue walking maybe these minutes can reduce"he said and I rolled my eyes behind my hand.
"Ok, now you can open" he said "Thank god, I thought that I was gonna stay like this forever" I said and suddenly I look at the place, and my jaw just stayed there wide open "Omg, h-how? W-When? Omg, It's so beautiful" I said looking him with teary eyes and I could feel him smiling.

"I thought it will be better than going to a five star restaurant" he said while scratching his back neck "Omg, You really have a sense of love" I said while smiling widely and I could feel him staring at me.
"Sit, Let's start" he said and I nodded sitting next to him "So Miss Neelam, what do you want to eat?" he said and I smiled "Ehm, what did you cook?"I asked "Ok, I swear to god I tried to make something digestible but really, the result was so black and gross" he said and I let out a chuckle "Oh great, don't worry FOOD IS FOOD" I said giving him a warm smile.
"It wasn't that bad, just remember the next time to turn off the oven please ten minutes before" I said while putting the last piece of my chocolate muffin in my mouth "Wow, I thought you will throw them in the lake" he said and I laughed "Why would I do that? I am not that bad and how could I do that, it's your first time" I said and he suddenly took my head and intertwined our fingers, making my heart skip a beat.
"Thanks for forgiving me, I am really sorry for being an asshole" he said "Finally, you admit that" I said "Hey! I am being serious" he said and I laughed "Sorry, sorry I am not laughing but don't worry I already forgave you" I said trying to not laugh but failed.
When we were done with the food, my phone rang and I quickly took it was Sukhi, I accepted the call hoping that she was fine. While I was talking to her I could feel Aryan's hand trying to comfort me and smiling like he was saying that everything was fine.
After I finished with the call I couldn't stop thinking about anything but Sukhi, suddenly Aryan started to talk but the only thing I could hear was. Marriage.
I looked at him with widen eyes "Omg, Aryan you are right! We have to get Sukhi and Ahaan married" As I said I could feel his smile fading away, Did I say something wrong?
ARYAN's POV Finally, I was able to talk to her seriously, I know it's been only a few months that we were dating and proposing her it was a stupid idea, but somehow I could feel that I could live my life with her.
When she finished talking with Sukhi, I looked at her and took a long breath.
"So, the reason why I took you here, it's not only because you forgave me and gave me a second chance but also because I want to tell you something, maybe you are thinking that I am drunk or crazy, but I am serious, so, -i took a breath- I...I...I just wanted to ask you about if we could marry each other"I said nervously and suddenly I saw her widening her eyes like she found something precious to her and she looked at me smiling "Omg, Aryan you are right! We have to get Sukhi and Ahaan married" she said excited.
Is she serious? I was talking about us and she is thinking of Sukhi and Aryan? Seriously? Ahaan, you are paying for this!
"Aryan, did I say something wrong?" She asked me and I just smiled "Nothing, I am happy that you liked my idea"I said and gave her a smile, maybe next time.
I though it was better if she didn't listen to me, the next time I can do something more romantic.
Suddenly I stood up and went near the lake, and I walked in the lake and suddenly a hand took mine "Where are you going?" she asked and I look at her, she was worried "Oh, I think I should end my life her-" I was about to finish when she gave me a punch, a sweet one "If you want to die, why suicide? I have a better way" she said and I looked at her confused and she slowly backed up and then suddenly putting her hand in the lake, and a second later I was wet.
She started to throw water on me and laughing and I tried to cover myself and suddenly I started to walk toward her and she tried to run away but too late, she was in my arms with back facing me and I gently put my head on her shoulder and I could feel that she was getting nervous "I didn't even do anything and you are already blushing" I whisper in her ear and she hit me with her small elbow, making me back up and she started to run away and I quickly chased her.
I fell in love with the way she touched me without using her hands. ————
