SUKHI's POV
As usual I went to the park to take some fresh air. I was going to sit on the swing when I looked at a familiar person.
"Aryan?" I asked and he turned his face "Oh Sukhi? Come and sit" he said, I nodded and went to sit to the next swing.
"Why are you here?" I asked him "Just wanted to be alone" he said "Oh I am sorry if you want I can g-" I was about to stand up but he quickly stopped me "No. No, stay" he said, I sat back and we stayed there for some minutes in silence, feeling the cold air touching our soft skin.
"Aryan, you know when a person is silent it's not because he's got nothing to say but because he's afraid that someone can use his small words against him and ruin him" I said looking at the sky "And sometimes even the most strongest person needs someone to help him in his hard times" I continued "What do you mean?" he asked and I looked at him "Aryan, maybe I can be wrong but why do you keep things in your heart? Try to tell them to someone, I am not telling that you have to tell me about your life story but if you want I can listen to you without judging you" I said giving him a small smile.
"Thanks, Sukhi" he said and I nodded "So is it true that you wanted to propose Neelam, huh?" I asked him playfully and he quickly looked at me shocked "H-how do you know?" he asked me "Well, maybe I heard from someone" I said nervously "Who? Wait...Ahaan?!"he questioned embarrassed and I looked at him with a smile "Aw..are you embarrassed?" I chuckled "Stop it, you are worse than my sister" he chucked and I laughed.
"Anyways, it wasn't Ahaan who told me about that...it's just I overheard when he was talking with you, I am really sorry" I said rubbing my neck "Hey, you shouldn't do that, what if we were telling each other something about men thing...huh?" he said and I punched him playfully and laughed together.
"Ok stop laughing, let's go home I am hungry" I said rubbing my stomach and he chuckled "Come on, little princess" he said and I smiled "Yeah that's good, respect me"I said and we started walking back home.
NEELAM's POV
"Do you want some coffee?" I asked nervously to Ahaan.
'I need to start the conversation somehow' I ordered myself.
"Should I thank him or should I apologise him?" I asked in my mind.
" So...I...we need do talk, first of all I am so sorry...sorry if I created a scene at the hospital and I shouldn't have behaved like that in public, I can't imagine how embarrassing it was for you, and in these past days I seemed to have this so called "hate Ahaan club" too. I hope you can understand me, I didn't mean anything bad to you...it's just I was so worried about Sukhi, to be honest I'd made a promise to her mum that I will treat her like my little sister while she is living with me and I admit the fact that you didn't deserve to be treated like this, so, I am sorry Ahaan, please forgive me" I said looking down on the floor waiting for his reply.
I needed to apologise to him since these days I treated him very bad, It's embarrassing but not that much as I embarrassed him.
"Man! I need some fresh air now! Too much tension in the room. Ok, I won't lie I was a little just a little irritated because of you behaving like this, I mean, it's not easy to get used to this changing in mine and Sukhi's life, don't misunderstand me...I am really happy to welcome a new member in our life but all of this just happened so quickly, anyways, as you know I am a Gentleman, I will forgive!" He said smiling and I left a relived sigh "God, thank god" I mentally said.
"Oh, my stalking partner I missed your joker side, sorry for not understanding your situation and for forgiving me" I said to change the awkward moment between us.
"OH I FORGOT! Neelam, have you seen this Instagram post?"he stated and I looked at him confused and I was so thankful that he changed the topic.
"Ahaan, Thank you so much for accepting my apologies and I wish you Both a happy ever lif-" as I was saying he interrupted me "Ok, ok, That's enough, you don't need to be too sweet, that's not how our Neelam behave! You know, we both have learned something from this, so let's not repeat this in the future. Now, stop talking about this, my life it's already a movie let's not put more sugar" he said laughing and I laughed along while we were finishing the coffee.
"Let me check where is Sukhi and how is she" he said while standing up. He really changed to a caring person from the first time that I met him, for sure.
"Hey soon to be dad, wait! Well, at least you've got a 'Touching love story', you have something to tell your child in the future, from hating each other, laughing and crying and falling in love...What a soup opera" I said laughing "Yeah, very touching story, If I don't go now to check Sukhi, I am afraid that I will not have a chance to tell my child all of this!" He said running out of the house with his jacket.
