Suddenly

Chapter 9

NEELAM's POV

I think this was the first time that I was sad because the cruise trip was over.

In these past few days we had so much fun together. I was glad that I didn't have work for the next two weeks, and on my days off I could spend some time with him. I know it sounds cheesy that we fall in love just knowing each other for only for a few days, even I am surprised that Aryan created a small place in my heart for himself. In just couple of days, he was able to make me feel special and happy and as someone who has never been in a relationship before, he made me feel like I was important and my happiness matters.

My phone rang and it was his massage:

Ar: "Hey...can we meet now, instead of this evening? I think I am missing you"

I felt my heart skip a beat. Before him, no one ever dared to say something like that. It felt like I was daydreaming.

I turned around and looked at my friend "Sukhi! Let's go, I want to meet him. Hurry up! Move!" she looked at me as if I was on drugs or something and continued reading her book while ignoring me. It looked like she was sick of my romantic behaviour. "Can't you do this for your friend's happiness?" I begged her acting hurt "Neelam, stop! This is unfair. You can't always emotional blackmail me" Sukhi stated a little pissed "Moreover,I don't want to act like a third wheel between your cheesy and romantic moment" she finally said and I facepalmed. "Oh please don't be so dramatic. There will be Ahaan too" I said "Great company" she sarcastically said rolling her eyes making me laugh.

SUKHI's POV
We were sitting in Aryan's car listening to some boring music. Ahaan and I were sitting in the back in silent while Neelam and Aryan were talking normally.

Suddenly Aryan put his hand on Neelam's lap and she blushed like a tomato. "There are children in the back" Ahaan said and I looked at him gasping and they coughed in embarrass.

We were in the West part of London. Me and Ahaan were walking in front of the new couple, Aryan and Neelam.
'Of course, they don't want to make me cringe' I thought in my mind.

They were talking and laughing with each other meanwhile we were silently walking through the sidewalk and stopped when we arrived in front of the Buckingham Palace.

I smiled looking at the picture that I took I was glad that today the sun showed up decorating the moments which I was capturing in my beloved camera.

I took some pictures of the lovely couple, they were cute together and I felt relieved seeing Neelam laughing after so long like this.

Then, we went to St.James park where every type of bird was flying or was resting on the green grass. Not to forget the big monkey scaring them, Ahaan. He was busy ruining my photos "Can you stop coming in front of the camera?" I asked him annoyed "No. Come on, take a picture of me" He said and I sighed taking a picture of him. I showed him and went towards the lake but as I was walking he took my wrist and turned me around "Let's take a picture together" Ahaan stated while I looked at him confused before I could say something he took my camera and asked a tourist to take a picture of us who kindly accepted. Then he came back, he stood next to me "Smile" he whispered putting his arm on my waist removing the gap between us. I was surprised by his moves that I was holding my breath while my heart was going crazy. I turned around to see him but his eyes were already on me, I didn't know why I felt nervous around him, why I felt good when his arms were around me. Why?
"Done" the man said to us making me come back to the reality.

He is just a boy who takes girl every in the bed, don't trust him. My mind alerted me and I walked away from him thanking the man.

We started walking towards the Oxford road and when I saw the entry of Chinatown I quickly called Neelam "Can we go, please?" I asked pouting "Let's go" she replied while the boys looked at me confused.

"Why Chinatown?" Aryan asked her "You should visit it, it has the most brilliant asian restaurants" Neelam replied smiling and he smiled and followed her.

On the other hand Ahaan was walking next to me "I am wondering if we are just going to walk like idiots or we are going to eat something or not?" he mumbled annoyed gaining my attention "Food? Yes.Let's eat in a korean restaurant, then" I asked the couple and they accepted.

Afterwards we decided to get out of there from the same entrance but as we turned around we saw that it was the wrong one. "I think we got lost" Neelam said with a sigh "Wow, this explains that we will never go to China. We are already lost in Chinatown. Don't want to think about the cities" Ahaan joked making Aryan laugh. After walking for at least fifteen minutes we found the exit.

We took a cold drink on the road and started to walk again for the next minutes. "I am tired" I said while taking a sip of my drink "We haven't even walked that much and you are already tired" Ahaan said "Do you want me to pick you up, angel?" he suddenly asked and I chocked the water I was drinking "W-What?!" I almost shouted and he laughed "I was joking. "But if you wan-" Aryan interrupted him "We are going on the other side. You guys can go ahead" he explained "Yeah, don't worry" I said and started walking towards the book shop.

I was looking at the various books set on the shelves when I saw a book with a black cover on the top shelve. I tried to jump but couldn't catch it "Why they always put interesting books on the top?" I asked frustrated reaching out the last shelve "Maybe they want me to help you" a voice behind me talked and a hand reached mine and touched the book. I felt goosebumps on my back forming when his breath was tickling my skin making my heart beat fast. I turned around to see who was it when I found Ahaan's face inch away from my mine, my eyes widened I wanted to push him but somehow his eyes were making me powerless. He looked at my lips and moved closer but the ringing of the entrance door brought us back to our sense and Ahaan backed away "Ehm..Sorry" he said embarrassed.

I looked at the book "My first book in England" I said with a big smile while turning the pages "It's just a book" Ahaan said and I looked at him "Not for me" I complained "Oh really? Let me see" he said taking the book in his hands and out of the blue he started running "Hey! My book! Ahaan" I screamed and started chasing him not caring about the people's faces "Come on, Angel. Catch me if you can" he turned around calling me and I run behind him pissed off "I swear to god Ahaan, I will kill you" I yelled running like a crazy "You have to catch me first" Ahaan said laughing but still running fast.

ARYAN's POV

We decided to go around some shopping malls, I know that Neelam hates shopping but I wanted to buy her some clothes, so I did it.

I picked up some purses and gave to her "What's this?" She asked me confused "It's Louis Vuitton's purse...Pick one" I said and I could look in her eyes the excitement and the surprise "Aryan, really I am not buyin-" I quickly cut her off before she could tell something sentimental "Shut up and take one...I am your boyfriend ...come on" I ordered.

Before choosing she gave me a sincere smile and I could see some tears in her eyes "Thank you so much, Aryan" she said and I hugged her.

I didn't know what I was feeling, the only thing I wanted to do with her was never letting her go and make her happy.

I always hated holding hands but this time it was different, I didn't want to leave her hand, all I wanted to do was stay there and hold it tightly so she couldn't leave me ever.

We were standing in front of a cafe and suddenly we heard a familiar voice yelling "Give me that book!" when we looked who it was, we started laughing when we saw Ahaan running and Sukhi chasing him.

"They will never change" Neelam said and I nodded "Maybe they will have their chemistry" I said looking at two of them running like crazy "Who knows? Even I didn't know that I would fall for someone like you" she said and I laughed and pinched her cheek which made her run away from me but I quickly back hugged her tightly "You are not running anywhere" I explained and she laughed "I love you" I said making her turn around "I love you too" she said hugging me.
