It takes Crowley a day to get a hold of his witch mother, and Sam, Dean and I all wait in Crowley's crappy underground motel dungeon like home while they fetch her. Things are still tense between Dean and I, but we both let it be that way, neither wanting to start the conversation of apology's. Dean opens the door to the room where Crowley and Rowena are, and she slurrs out in her thick accent "oh, you're not handing me over to them? It's beneath even you. They're your enemies as well."

"All right, Rowena, we get it. We're all enemies." Dean spits towards her "Okay? But right now, we got bigger fish to fry. Then we can go back to killing each other."

"Ah. The chicken's come home to roost. This ghastly force set free when the Mark was removed." She smiles as she teases the brothers with what we've all done.

"So you know" I ask.

She one shoulder shrugs "I've heard whispers. As bad as they say?"

"Well, let's just say that everyone in this room might hold a piece of the puzzle to corking it back up." Dean explains to her.

She gets what we're saying, she knows what we need. And she's going to play it for everything it's worth "oh, really? And what happens to me once the danger's past? How do I know I can trust any of you?"

Crowley answers her "you don't."

I add on "none of us do."

"It's a Devil's bargain." Crowley then finishes, smirking towards his mother "what do you say wench, you help us, they help you, the world continues to go around."

"I still don't know what you need me for?" She asks, now moving from where she stands, chained at the wrists to a seat.

Sam and Dean eye each other, but Sam decides to tell her "The darkness, Amara. She's going to destroy the world. She wants payback."

"Payback for what? Whom?" Rowena questions, her eyes seemingly glistening from the new information she is receiving.

"God. She's his sister." I spit, just ready to get on with it.

"Can this be true? His sister?" She smiles as if it's the juiciest thing she's ever heard "oh, in my day, we'd all be burnt at the stake for even thinking any of this." She acts as if she's a school girl hearing her crush likes her back.

Crowley steps off his throne or whatever it is "you see then, mother, the need for urgency."

She properly turns towards him and responds "well, if my deciphering of the book is so pivotal, I'd like to know what's in it for me."

"You mean, other than your life?" Dean scowls and asks rhetorically.

Crowley adds "speaking of which, I'll make you a little deal, mummy. You pitch in, like a good girl, I'll call off my assassins. No more looking over your shoulder. For now."

She purses her lips as she thinks for a moment, then she agree's "I'll need the Codex, of course. And the code breaker Charlie devised."

We nods but Sam tells her "yeah, you'll get limited access. Supervised."

"We need to know exactly where this safe location is going to be. Sam needs to be protected." Dean reiterates.

She then asks "just what are summoning that is so dangerous, hmm?"

I look to Dean who looks to me. Then the two brothers share a glance. Dean says his name "Lucifer."

She repeats "Lucifer. The original dark prince?"

"Yes, an archangel so bad-ass that he was personally dumped into the cage by God himself." Dean rolls his eyes.

She almost squeals in her seat and I tilt my head at her, wondering what that was for. She then tells us all "let's get to it then, lads."

Dean sends me off to get the codex and Sam and him will stay with Crowley and Rowena to make sure neither of them do anything stupid. By the time I get back with the codex, Dean left to go investigate a bunch of murder's at a church a state over. The tension I've been carrying since coming along releases and I stay with Sam as we watch over Rowena as she works on figuring out to summon Lucifer to a safe location. We sit in the dark, dingy, moldy room for hours and eventually, I have to step away to check on Paul. I call my dad, and he answers "Hey Hayden, how are things with you and Dean?" He asks, then laughs at something.

"Things are getting better, but I think we need a few more days alone. I'm so sorry to put this on you dad. Is everything okay, how's Paul feeling?" I ask, hoping he doesn't tell me I need to get back.

"He actually seems to be better. Lizette is taking his temperature every hour and he doesn't seem to be getting any higher then 99.4" He tells me, and that makes me relax just a little bit more. He then says "and uncle Charles is coming over tomorrow and he's going to take him to the zoo!"

He says it as if Paul is in front of him and he's talking to him. But I question "I'm sorry, uncle Charles?"

"Ehh, he's been around a lot lately and he's a good guy. If you don't want me to call him that, that's fine." He returns to me.

"Okay, yeah, that's a little weird to me. But thank you again for taking care of Paul for us. We really needed this." I say back. I told my dad that Dean and I were struggling taking care of Paul and working enough to cover all of our bills. He thinks we are currently fighting over that and so I let him believe Dean and I took this time to reconnect. He offered us money, of course, but I declined, never wanting that from my parents. I left that life when I moved to Kansas and I wasn't going to start again. Luckily, he believes me and tells me that he's proud of me for making a life of my own. Meanwhile, he has no idea of the real life problems we have, like trying to summon Lucifer and save my baby from some unknown illness "I love you, dad. I'll talk to you tomorrow."

"Love you too, honey. Bye." He says then hangs up.

When I go back into the room, Sam is waiting impatiently at the door "what?" I ask as he stares at me.

He explains "I need to get Crowley, she figured something out." He then leaves me alone with Rowena while he fetches the king of this hell hole.

I ask Rowena what it is, but she just ignores me and stares at a page in her book. When she starts to turn the page of the codex, I quickly go over and grab it from her "no, you found what you needed to."

She smiles at me, then says "it's surprising to me to see you here." I turn my back to ignore her, but she continues "your baby is quiet charming but you know dear, family is a weakness. It's going to get you killed."

"Shut up" I snarl, looking over my shoulder at her.

She just giggles "I'm just telling you the truth."

Sam returns to the room then with Crowley and I'm relived I don't have to listen to her terrible accent threatening my families lives anymore. "I'll call, Dean." I pull out my phone and dial his number.
