We're out of the city in under an hour. I remembered some of the better roads to take to get around the weekend traffic. We get on the New Jersey Turnpike and he speeds off towards home.

We drive straight through, only stopping to fill up the car and get refreshments. Dean and I talk along the way, but not about my parents. When we are about 45 minutes away Dean brings up Paul. "Okay, you and me need to be on our best behavior. I can't do this without your help." He confides squeezing my left hand.

"You won't." I respond back. "Whatever it's going to take to get our baby back" I say determined back.

"We also have to deal with Lucifer.." He adds on, I give him a serious look "what?" He shrugs.

"Unless somehow dealing with him will help us with Paul, let Sam and Castiel handle that." I explain.

He sighs "I get it, I do. But we can't just expect him to go away. With him around, Paul is at risk even more" he responded.

"Well. One thing at a time. Let's get that damn mark off of him first, he's getting older.." I say, stopping from saying the next part. Dean nods in agreement and I sigh. He doesn't know that Paul is also getting stronger. Sam texted me about it the night we first got to New York. I snuck out of bed and called him from the bathroom. He got so upset his baby food was empty that he through the bottle across the room with extreme force. Sam knew the mark was was having an affect on him, he saw the rage in his brother that came along with it. I told him to hold off on telling Dean. He has so much to worry about right now as it is, I don't want him to become more stressed and make it harder to succeed.

We pull into the driveway of the cabin and Sam meets us at the doorway with our baby. He looks so much older then he did just days before and I'm glad we're home. This is where we need to be at the moment, this is what needs to be taken care of. Paul happily cries for mommy and daddy and we all retreat inside the house. The three of us reconnect as a family and Sam moves into the kitchen. Something smelt amazing from the moment we pulled into the driveway and I was happy he was here. I take this time with my family and enjoy every second. The smile that is plastered on Paul's face is identical to the one Dean is mirroring back at him as they play hide and seek behind his hands. We sit together on the floor of the cabin once stained with dark memories and make new ones.

"You guys ready to eat?" Sam pops his head out of the kitchen and asks us.

"You really gotta ask?" Dean replies automatically. He scoops up Paul in one arm and offers his other hand to help me off the floor.

I graciously accept "thank you" I return as we walk in to sit down. As I sit I take a look at what Sam has out for us "this is amazing Sam, you really didn't have to go through all this trouble."

"Oh please, I'm sure Dean had you eating burgers from brown bags every other day on your trip." He chuckles knowing just how true it is.

"Well, it looks delicious!" I smile scooping potatoes onto my plate.

I serve Paul some softer foods and sit down. I go to start eating but notice Dean paused mid fork grab above his plate "something wrong?" Sam asks, also noticing his strange behavior.

"Should I pray or something?" He questions more to himself then us. I look at Sam with a hopeful glance and he nods with a smirk in return.

I try to hide the unexpected shock in my face when I reply to him "that's a great idea babe" I bow my head down and close my eyes. Paul sits beside me, picking at the food and I put my hand over his to make him wait.
